Hello, my dear hivers!
once again and now, I’ll be sharing with you the time we went to church as a family.
Going to church together has always been one of our little family traditions. It may seem ordinary but it gives a different kind of warmth to us. There's just something comforting about being there . No matter how stressful or busy our week gets, we still find time to pause , breathe and reconnect with God.
Before I'll mention about what happened when we arrived at the church let me share how our morning started.
The day before which Saturday my mother had already reminded us that we would attend the Sunday morning mass . At exactly 4:00AM, my Mama who woke up early, went around the house tapping us gently and told us to get ready.
My sister, asked me if I like to take a bath. So, I asked her the same question and replied that I wanna take a bath.
After taking a bath, I then fixed myself and prepared the clothes I planned to wear.
A few minutes later, everyone was already prepared.
I brought the Mother Mary statue with me and held it throughout the trip. Oh, and my brother was our driver this morning.
Fast forward to after the mass, we did our usual routine: taking pictures as a simple remembrance.
P.S. These photos was captured right before 6.9 earthquake and typhoon tino. While I was browsing and came up with these photos I can’t help but to reminisce. But you know, everything happens for a reason. Even if the church was damaged by the natural disasters , our faith in God wasn’t shaken. In fact, it became even stronger.
I asked Mama a favor if she could take a picture of me. At first , I didn’t like the angles of the first two shots, so I gently guided her on how to take it. And after that, she captured it perfectly, just the way I imagined it .
After taking our photos, we headed back home.
