Have you ever been a leader and your subordinate look up to you when the condition becomes critical with no one willing to help? What do you do as a leader?.
Being a leader is not something anyone anywhere will just wake up and carry out as a duty. Most especially when it involves humans, it is sometimes better to lead a flock of sheeps than to be in the front line leading your fellow people, there has to be some characters one needs to possess and this characters is not all about age as some will say since i am the eldest here then the mantle should be handed over to me Or even size as others will say i am bigger so please i will be able to stand for you people or even height as some will say my height alone us enough to tell how strong u should be, so nothing dare stand our way. All this are mare saying that anyone can spit out. When we talk of leadership we talk of capabilities. That is not one right? Because he can carry out so many responsibilities. Other attribute are Willingness, sacrifice and risk taking,not everyone is willing to take risk for another. You get to a place and the leader stands thinking how do we scale through this difficult situation then he begins to think of how to withdraw and if care is not taking that's how both the leader and the subordinate will retire from the journey they have traveled far with just a small obstacle stoping them.
Are you a leader and one of your characteristics is fear then I bet you, you won't take your subordinate to a greater height. A leader who stand in front to lead but is not moving from a stage to a higher stage then that person should not be called a leader as to the best decribsion to that person is "progress Hinderer". So if you stand right at the back of someone and you discovered you are not advancing in life then a piece of advice is change a leader or it's even better to walk alone than to be led to no where by no body. When you are not advancing then there is no leader even when someone is standing. Sacrifice someone who is not willing to sacrifice his time, recourses and even sometimes life is not worthy of that position. Can you give your life for the benefit of others, can you start and others follow suit or you as a leader send someone as a testing tool to see if it really works or not. I look at this picture and had a thought to my self that it takes only a true leader to be able to take a bold step in a situation like this.
