Hello World, Hello Hivers!
It’s me again your pretty pastry queen in the future, jamminn! Well this blog was about the happenings during our KKF culmination in the school where it serves as our final examination for the last semester! OMG! talking about last semester feels like challenging in the next school year as I will totally joined or experience the real – world of my dreamed soon to be future career. Okay, talking back about our culmination, It was such a tiring yet joyful day in our life as a student because we are all engaging with our classmate.
Let me tell you the story what happen from the beginning. Before the day of culmination, we gather in a one place to start making our “Do IT Yourself” props or designs that we will used for our culmination while our other classmates making the design, some of us are rehearsing for our intermission number such as folkdance and singing. Oh, before I forgot, the theme of our culmination was Bayani ft. Baryo Fiesta where we need to wear Filipiniana and barong. We chose this theme in honor to our traditions and ancestors’ way back their days for us to remember where we came and what traditions we have in a specific event. Going back to the story, before the day of culmination we are all felt tired but we chose to fight those struggles in order to finish the tasks that we need to accomplish because we are strong students. Despite of the endless making and frustrating day, we find a way for us to fight and turn those struggles into happiness. We find ways for us to laugh because in that way we can avoid negative thinking in order for us to surrender, REMEMBER that happiness is a strong weapon to fight any struggles so find way to laugh out those problems and stressed you have in life.
On the day of culmination, we are still finishing some of our props that we didn’t finish on the other day as we all very tired and also the night came so we decided to go home and finished the rest on the next day because we all know that HEALTH IS THE TOP PRIORITY. As some of us making some designs the other are started putting the other designs, we are all helping each other for us to be more faster and to finished on time before the program will start. When we are almost done, we decided to rest first and have some fun by having a karaoke on our room but in a low volume because you know professors will be mad cause some sections have their class and examinations. So much fun that day even before the program started, that day was the combination of happiness and tiring but always REMEMBER don’t focus on negative sides.
The time passed, we are all set and gathered all in the room to have our program flow rehearsed so that the program will not be messed up. After we rehearse, we called our teacher so that we can start the program. As time goes by, we finally started our program by having a welcome remarks and a prayer. After how many minutes, finally, the masters of ceremonies officially open the program as well as the components of the programs. First, we dance a traditional dance which is the KURADANG, well yes I am part of that dance even though I am not that good at dancing but duh I want to dance so I dance bleh. After we dance the next portion was the Musical theater, the room were full of laughter, thrill and love as the first performer was giving such thrill because they are couple in our class, they bring hype to the class through their performance.
So much happenings during these days, we have a lot of performances prepared such as Sabayang Pagbigkas and a singing contest where we called it “Tawag ng Section A”. All the struggles and tired days was all paid off when we successfully present our culmination, after all the performances our teacher gave his closing remark speech that melt our heart as he gave such flowery words about the journey he have with us. As our teacher continued giving his speech, some of our classmate jokingly cried and gave handmade flowers to our teacher as a sign that they are touched by the words of our teacher. After a moment of time, our teacher finally end his speech and then we all gathered to eat because our stomach started growling due to hunger cause by the stressed when preparing the event. Before we eat, there’s this incidents that made us worry because the light in our room suddenly fall like OMG are being ghosted?, kidding aside after the incident being fixed by our school maintenance we continue our event and finally eat the food that being prepared every groups in our room. We are all happily sharing our foods, eating like no other day because we are all very hungry. As we eat our food, we are also happily chit chatting with each other. After we ate, we end our program by having a one last karaoke song with a twist where the host will randomly gave the microphone to our classmates to take their turn to sing that specific part of the song and also we are having our one last disco dance at the center. And after the final sing and dance, we all wrap up and started cleaning the room and packed some of the leftover foods that we had. It was indeed a unforgettable day in our college days where we all have fun and getting united with each other that makes our relationship more stronger and even more closer to each other. This event is one of the best memories we have before we separate ways with each other as we will enter a real-world experience throughout our chosen careers.
