El día de hoy comparto con ustedes un poco de mi opinión acerca de este increíble instrumento.
Today I share with you a bit of my opinion about this incredible instrument.
Desde la adolescencia, la guitarra siempre fue un instrumento que llamo bastante la atención, pero en esos momentos nunca tuve la oportunidad de poder aprender, ya que no conocía a nadie que pudiera enseñarme. Hasta que hace dos años atrás pude tener la oportunidad de aprender, y aprovecharla al máximo. Es cierto que cada uno tenemos nuestros cantantes, músicos y grupos preferidos, pero no podemos negar que la guitarra es uno de los instrumentos que siempre ha tenido y tiene un no sé qué especial. Por otro lado, la gran mayoría queremos imitar a nuestros ídolos, y tocar la guitarra es una de las mejores formas de hacerlo, ya que además nos sirve para compartir un agradable momento con nuestros amigos.
Since adolescence, the guitar has always been an instrument that attracted a lot of attention, but in those moments I never had the opportunity to learn, since I did not know anyone who could teach me. Until two years ago I was able to have the opportunity to learn, and make the most of it. It is true that each of us has our favorite singers, musicians and groups, but we cannot deny that the guitar is one of the instruments that it has always had and it has something special about it. On the other hand, the vast majority of us want to imitate our idols, and playing the guitar is one of the best ways to do it, since it also helps us to share a pleasant moment with our friends.
Desde mi punto de vista la música es una lengua universal que ablanda los corazones y une a las personas, porque en su gran parte nos permite interpretar emociones y trasmitir sentimientos y sensaciones, armonizando así los sentidos y los sonidos que se entrelazan tras los silencios. Si alguno de ustedes decide aprender a tocar la guitarra, definitivamente deciden que este instrumento se convertirá en una prolongación de ustedes mismos, de su sensibilidad, y se volverá un medio de expresión artística. Claro que, según el estilo música que les guste (blues, rock, reggae, pop, música clásica, alternativa, etc.), podrá desarrollar una faceta de su personalidad al resto, mostrando sus gustos, afinidades musicales y artísticas.
From my point of view, music is a universal language that softens hearts and unites people, because for the most part it allows us to interpret emotions and transmit feelings and sensations, thus harmonizing the senses and sounds that intertwine behind the silences. If any of you decide to learn to play the guitar, you definitely decide that this instrument will become an extension of yourself, of your sensitivity, and it will become a means of artistic expression. Of course, depending on the style of music you like (blues, rock, reggae, pop, classical music, alternative, etc.), you can develop a facet of your personality to the rest, showing your tastes, musical and artistic affinities.
Este instrumento musical, puede ofrecer múltiples ventajas a nuestra vida, siendo fácil de entender, ya que los primeros pasos son fáciles de seguir y la progresión en la práctica puede ser bastante rápida hasta alcanzar un nivel interesante. Se trata de un instrumento que se puede tocar en cualquier lugar y con cualquier persona y que nos permite reproducir muchas canciones de oído. Este es uno de los instrumentos preferidos por los jóvenes, pero también por los adultos, y a mi parecer no hay edad límite para empezar a tocar la guitarra. Solo basta el amor y la fuerza de voluntad que le tengas.
This musical instrument can offer multiple advantages to our life, being easy to understand, since the first steps are easy to follow and the progression in practice can be quite fast until reaching an interesting level. It is an instrument that can be played anywhere and with anyone and that allows us to play many songs by ear. This is one of the instruments preferred by young people, but also by adults, and in my opinion there is no age limit to start playing the guitar. Just enough love and willpower that you have.
Pero hay que recordar que, como todo, las clases de guitarra exigen una gran motivación y dedicación personal. Puede que se encuentren con altibajos, y con momentos desalentadores en los que tendrán que buscar en lo más profundo de su ser para recordar qué los llevo a aprender este instrumento. Por eso, para no abandonarlo se debe recordar ante todo por qué empezaste: ¿cuál es tu motivación?
Muchas veces nos preguntamos, por qué tan sólo unas pocas personas consiguen alcanzar un nivel tan alto de guitarra, mientras la mayoría tiran la toalla ante los primeros obstáculos. Por lo general, la mayoría abandona muy pronto porque no avanzan tan rápido como les gustaría. Ya que cuando vemos a los guitarristas experimentados en el escenario nos parece que lo que hacen es fácil, pero debemos recordar que eso lleva tras de sí muchas horas de trabajo. Hay que practicar mucho para hacer que tocar la guitarra parezca fácil, para tocar de manera fluida y ser capaz de improvisar.
But you have to remember that, like everything else, guitar lessons require great motivation and personal dedication. They may find themselves with ups and downs, and with discouraging moments when they will have to search deep inside to remember what led them to learn this instrument. Therefore, in order not to abandon it, you must first remember why you started: what is your motivation?
Many times we wonder why only a few people manage to reach such a high level of guitar, while most throw in the towel at the first obstacles. Typically, most drop out very early because they are not progressing as fast as they would like. Since when we see experienced guitarists on stage it seems to us that what they do is easy, but we must remember that this takes many hours of work. It takes a lot of practice to make playing the guitar look easy, to play fluently, and to be able to improvise.
Un consejo es que, si queremos aprender a tocar tocar, nuestra motivación será la clave: ahí donde otros abandonarán, nosotros seguiremos y progresaremos. Entonces sentiremos la satisfacción de ser capaces de tocar y reproducir las canciones que tanto nos gustan. Cuanto más perseveremos, mayor será nuestro nivel. Debemos mantener siempre una perspectiva a largo plazo: fijar nuestros objetivos y avanzar paso a paso. La guitarra es un instrumento maravilloso cuando conseguimos dominarlo, pero somos nosotros mismos los que debemos abrir el camino.
One piece of advice is that, if we want to learn to play, our motivation will be the key: where others will drop out, we will continue and progress. Then we will feel the satisfaction of being able to play and reproduce the songs that we like so much. The more we persevere, the higher our level will be. We must always keep a long-term perspective: set our goals and move forward step by step. The guitar is a wonderful instrument when we manage to master it, but we ourselves must lead the way.
