Today I want to share, with whoever likes to pass by, part of the green of what can also be enjoyed in the city of Bogota. It's not just cars, buildings and pollution, luckily not. Its cold climate allows vegetation to grow abundantly. A park in a place with so much green, so much nature allows us a truly healthy distraction.
Hoy quiero compartir, con quien guste pasar, parte de lo verde de lo que también se puede disfrutar en la ciudad de Bogotá. No sólo son autos, edificios y contaminación, por suerte no. Su frío clima permite que la vegetación crezca de manera abundante. Un parque en un sitio con tanto verde, tanta naturaleza nos permite una distracción verdaderamente sana.
Below I bring an image that I captured near the El Dorado International Airport, as you can see in the background, a great infrastructure, however, in the outskirts of the airport the vegetation is also abundant.

In the town of Engativa, where I went today, there is a river that runs through the center, unfortunately it is contaminated, which normally happens with rivers in big cities, which turn them into waste dumps. But in spite of this, nature prevails.
En la localidad de Engativa, a la que fui hoy, hay un río que pasa por el centro, lamentablemente está contaminado, lo que normalmente ocurre con los ríos en las grandes ciudades, que los convierten en vertederos de desechos. Pero a pesar de esto, la naturaleza prevalece.
I find it difficult that someone cannot enjoy walking through spaces like this, the truth is that you can breathe tranquility. Mother Nature gives us many things, but unfortunately there are those who do not care much about taking care of her, but, there she is, making herself felt, from her green tranquility.
Veo difícil que alguien no pueda disfrutar caminar por espacios como este, la verdad es que se respira tranquilidad. La madre naturaleza nos regala muchas cosas, pero desafortunadamente hay quienes no les importa mucho cuidarla, pero, ahí está, haciéndose sentir, desde su verde tranquilidad.
