Social sin or art? / ¿Pecado social o arte?

Greetings friends of Hive! Today, while enjoying a coffee at tea time, a curious thought came to me.

Saludos amigos de Hive! Hoy deleitando un café a la hora de la merienda me vino un pensamiento curioso.

We all know that coffee is a main part of our lives... it is basically the magic potion that helps us to keep our heads in the right place, and although for many it is only a stimulant, others consider that this in itself is a panacea to our lives, and it is then while I disperse in my thoughts that I remember one of the greatest sinful tastes that I have... if I am guilty and I admit it... Todos sabemos que el café es parte principal de nuestras vidas… es básicamente la poción mágica que nos ayuda a mantener la cabeza en su lugar, y aunque para muchos es solo un estimulante, otros consideramos que este en sí mismo es un panacea a nuestras vidas, y es entonces mientras me disperso en mis pensamientos que recuerdo uno de los mayores gustos pecaminosos que tengo… si soy culpable y lo admito… Josueabraham Moja el pan con el café…

This confession is not only mine, no sir, I know that many of the readers are guilty of this great sin and even if it sounds a little absurd confession, think about it... how many cafeterias or meetings with friends, or better yet, how many offices have we dared to dip our bread, doughnut, candy or whatever we have on hand with a delicious coffee with milk? It is NEVER "rude" and this is where I focus.

Esta confesión no es solo mía, no señor, yo sé que muchos de los lectores son culpables de este Excelso pecado y aunque suene una confesión un poco absurda pónganse a pensar… ¿en cuantas cafeterías o en cuantas reuniones con amigos, o mejor en cuantas oficinas nos hemos atrevido a mojar el pan, dona, dulce o lo que tengamos a mano con un exquisito café con leche? NUNCA es “de mala educación” y es en este punto en el cual me centro.

Why should a manifestation of our most humble and simple desire be inhibited by absurd prejudices? Is it perhaps a crime to be able to enjoy such a simple (but exquisite) snack in such a "common" way in front of strangers?

¿Porque una manifestación de nuestro deseo más humilde y simple, debe de ser cohibida ante prejuicios absurdos? Es que acaso un delito poder disfrutar de una merienda tan simple (pero exquisita) de una manera tan “común delante de extraños?

The fact is that I consider that wetting, moistening, "enchumbar" (an ordinary word from my country to represent the above) is in itself, art! And not just any art. It is one that transports us to a cloudy memory of our happiest moments "childhood" where without prejudice, worries or great obligations we enjoyed the sweet pleasure of a good coffee with milk and in my case a slice of bread with butter. So from my perspective the dipping of any sweet or bread in the coffee should be basically obligatory! XD for being from "An Art".

El caso, es que considero que el mojar, humedecer, “enchumbar” (palabra ordinaria de mi país para representar las anteriores) es en sí mismo, arte! Y no cualquier arte. Es uno que nos transporta a un recuerdo nublado de nuestros momentos más felices “la niñez” donde sin prejuicios, preocupaciones ni grandes obligaciones disfrutábamos el dulce placer de un buen café con leche y en mi caso una rebanada de pan con mantequilla. Entonces desde mi perspectiva el Mojar el cualquier dulce o pan en el café debe ser básicamente obligatorio!! XD por ser desde “Un arte”.
