DISCRIMINACIÓN
Era callado el muchacho
el último de la fila
pero el mejor de la clase
le decían Ponte Pilas.
Era tímido el chiquillo
casi no le hablaba a nadie
pero al salir de la escuela
se mofaban en la calle.
Si por una condición
pretendo discriminar
es que tengo en mis carencias
la ausencia del verbo amar.
Ponte Pilas le decían
porque era pacienzudo
además no compartía
por no confiar en ninguno.
Jugaban al ajedrez
en una competición
y el muchacho Ponte Pila
terminó siendo el campeón.
Al acto de promoción
Ponte Pila fue el primero
de todos los promovidos
tuvo el más alto promedio.
El niño con condición
siempre tiene su virtud
pero otro con sus prejuicios
no entienden su magnitud.

they mocked him in the street.

it's because I lack
the ability to love.

because he was patient,
and he didn't share,
because he didn't trust anyone.
They played chess
in a competition,
and the boy "Get Your Act Together"
ended up being the champion.
At the graduation ceremony, "Get Your Act Together" was the first
of all the graduates; he had the highest average.
A child with a condition
always has his virtues,
but another, with his prejudices,
doesn't understand his greatness.
