Christmas is a time for a change of life. Time to change paths.
Time to ask for forgiveness and change the course of our lives.
It's not like some might say: "a time of hypocrisy". It's not like this. Jesus came into the world to make us repent, so that we can exercise forgiveness and love.
"To love God above all things, and to love our neighbor as ourselves."
These are the duties of every Christian!
It's hard, yes, it's hard. Who said "carrying the cross" is easy?
Unfortunately, in our days, people have high ego and vanity. Deliberately hating another person for no apparent reason has become fashionable.
But as Christians, as children of God, we are not of the world. We are only in the world, and for a little while.
Our salvation depends on "going against the tide" of pride, bitterness and hatred. Let's take this Christmas, the birth of Christ, to exercise forgiveness, one of his greatest commandments.
