Good day my friends! May the grace and peace of Our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all!
Jesus is, in the history of all religions, the only "God who became man and dwelt among us". God came out (so to speak) from his status as King and Creator in the heavenly majesty, and wanted to live as an ordinary man, like us.
He suffered everything that we suffer. Hunger, thirst, cold, pain. He felt everything we feel, he just didn't sin. After all, he is God, and God does not sin. He as God and man at the same time, knew (and knows) all our weaknesses.
He knows of our greed, of how fragile and easy we are to fall into sin. Judas was the greatest proof of this. He betrayed his master for 30 coins.
He was greedy, forgot everything Jesus taught him, disregarded everything he saw, the miracles he witnessed. His greed spoke louder and the price paid for his greed was eternal torment.
The lesson that remains is fidelity.
We must have control over ourselves, we must have more faith. Our faith is still too fragile, and we must always strengthen it.
Easter time is excellent for this. Easter is a time of recollection, prayer and here is the opportunity to strengthen our faith and not fall into sin.
It is difficult? Yes, but if we have perseverance and trust in divine providence, Jesus will always be by our side giving us strength and courage.
Good Day Everyone!
