Soil Painting: My first Encounter with Soil Art

I will be sharing to you how i came across soil painting..

An Event happen at my place where the Soil Artists
Held an Exhibit and Art workshop

Here they showed the different kinds of color of soils,
these soils are found in different places in bukidnon

Soil artist putting different colors of soil in a cup to distribute to the participants

participants are asked to get different colors (Light to Dark Soil)

we were instructed to put glue and water in each soils

Tada! My first soil Painting ! 🙌
for me the medium is very difficult to use so i really admire the soil artists in bukidnon

SOIL ART EXHIBIT

this shows the bukidnon's culture through art

the artists are lumads called talaandig tribe they are one of the seven (7) tribes living in bukidnon and all these arts are inspired with all their culture and community.
