I spend almost all my days creating and developing myself, therefore, I do not delve into collective fear and frustration. I look at the good side of physical isolation and take a lot of advantage of it. I thought writing wasn’t my genre but I feel more and more that I need to practice.
Here is my writing of today!
So far you have lived a comfortable life where you felt that everything was constant and the main problems of the world were far from you. Then you have suddenly been overwhelmed by losses and fears of loss.
Fear of losing your job, what's next?
Fear of losing your freedom, you don't even know how long the quarantine will last.
Fear of losing your loved ones, like your mother, father, friends, children... they maybe far away from you and you cannot even hug them.
Fear of future: what will happen to your country, economy, society, natural environment, Mother Earth?
Fear of death: famine, poverty, war, new deseases.
Fear of yourself, your mind! You balance on the verge of madness where no handrails.
You feel you are an unfortunate, miserable victim, you don’t feel responsible for yourself and you blame others or the circumstances for everything that happens to you! You may feel sorry for yourself and complain all the time, either animal instincts would cover your brain and you would attack in a squeak, or run away in panic!
This awful feeling is earthly hell...OUCH!!!
You may totally feel there is NO HOPE, NO GOD, NO LOVE and NO TOMORROW!
REALLY?
Hope dies last. A tiny spark is still alive.
You listlessly look out the window of your room and see the blooming tree in front of the house. You see the birds diligently building their nests and singing all the time. The sun is shining brightly. Tiny rays of light, light arrows reach your face, your hands, they get through your skin and you feel warmth. The energy of the physical sun has reached you and is now beginning to ignite your inner Sun. You feel a little lighter.
A friend calls you and asks if you are okay. The thoughts that made you stuck in fear emerge from you. Your friend is just listening to you and sympathizing with you. Well, he knows what the solution is, you just have to trust him. Your friend is kind to you, but mercilessly holds a mirror for you, and you are forced to accept that. He really loves you and will help you save yourself. He does not heal, but you heal yourself!
You face all your fears, your doubts, you cry a lot but you gradually see the world differently. You realize that you have created your own reality for yourself, and you alone are responsible for it. You start to tidy up the apartment, then in your mind. It will make you happy and inspirations, ideas come one after another on how to make your life even better. What if you shared these with others? What if you help others?
You look in the mirror and you see the wrinkles disappear from your face, your eyes sparkle again and you come alive. Congratulations! You fought your first battle with yourself and came out victorious! You are stronger than ever, but that doesn’t mean you won’t have any more difficulties in life anymore. You may have much bigger difficulties, but your attitude is already different.
