Ticket to Ride is probably a board game that I have played the most times in my life and with the largest number of people (and as you will notice in the pictures, in the company of animals ;)). And despite such statistics, it still turns me on and I want to reach for it and play a game with someone. In my opinion, it is best if we want to play it "endlessly". The worst are the board games that are played once and have enough, or it is even difficult to get through a given game once because it's tiring or boring.
"Wsiąść do pociągu" to prawdopodobnie planszówką, w która grałam najwięcej razy w moim życiu oraz z największą liczbą osób (i jak zauważycie na zdjeciach, w towarzystwie zwierząt ;)). I mimo takich statystyk, nadal mnie ona kręci i mam ochotę po nią sięgnąć i zagrać sobie z kimś partyjkę. Moim zdaniem najlepiej świadczy o grze, jeśli mamy ochotę grać w nią "w nieskończoność". Najgorsze są wg. mnie planszówki, w które zagra się raz i ma się dość, albo trudno jest nawet przebrnąć przez daną grę jeden raz, bo jest męcząca, albo nudna.
What is "Ticket to Ride" about? The player's task is to draw several routes that he has to create from the trains he has in his possession. For example, a route from New York to Bombay, or from Berlin to Paris. The longer the route, the more points you can score. During the game, carriages with trains are drawn, they are of different colors, and the routes between cities are made of carriages of a specific color. And so, for example, this route from Berlin to Paris may look like places for 4 red carriages on the board. You have to draw four trains in red, or several in red, and the rest in the color of a jocker train - that is, a multi-colored one that replaces all of them. It may also be that the other person will arrange trains on the way of our route and you need to set your trains around. There is a lot of scope for strategic thinking with the added risk in this game because it is often unknown what colors the trains will draw. There is also an element of competition, which is particularly visible when counting points. You get extra points for laying the longest route.
Na czym polega gra we "Wsiąść do pociągu"? Zadaniem gracza jest wylosowanie kilku tras, które musi ułożyć z pociągów, które ma w posiadaniu. Np. trasa z Nowego Yorku do Bombaju, czy z Berlina do Paryża. Im dłuższa trasa, tym więcej można zdobyć punktów. W ciągu gry losuje się wagoniki z pociągami, są one w różnych kolorach, a trasy pomiędzy miastami są ułożone z wagoników w okreslonym kolorze. I tak, np. ta trasa z Berlina do Paryża może wyglądać na planszy jak miejsca na 4 wagoniki w kolorze czerwonym. Trzeba wylosować cztery wagoniki w kolorze czerwonym, albo kilka w czerwonym kolorze, a resztę w kolorze pociągu jockera - czyli wielokolorowego, który zastępuje wszystkie. Może być też tak, że druga osoba ułoży pociągi na drodze naszej trasy i trzeba swoje pociągi ustawiać naokoło. Dużo jest w tej grze pola na strategiczne myślenie z dodatkiem ryzyka, bo często nie wiadomo jest, jakie kolory pociągów się wyciągnie. Dochodzi też element rywalizacji, który szczególnie widoczny jest przy liczeniu punktów. Dostaje się dodatkowe punkty za ułożenie najdłuższej trasy.

There are also old versions about traveling by train in the old days. I think with this variety everyone can choose something for themselves, or by playing different versions still be able to enjoy the game because playing only one version could get boring.
Gra doczekała się wielu wersji. Najbardziej obszerna jest wersja - Świat, bo zawiera też trasy morskie (mam ją u siebie, na właśność). Poza tym mamy wiele wersji europejskich, zarówno ogólną - Europa, jak i związaną z poszczególnymi krajami lub grupami krajów, np. Skandynawia, czy Wielka Brytania lub Holandia. Jest też wersja - Afryka, Azja, USA i Indie. ani gry tworzą również swoje własne wersje, wiem, że powstała wersja fanów dotycząca Australii i Japonii. Są też wersje starodawne, dotyczące podróżowaniem pociągiem w dawnych czasach. Myślę, że dzięki tej różnorodności każdy może wybrać coś dla siebie, albo grając w różne wersje, wciąż móc cieszyć się tą grą, bo grając wyłącznie w jedną wersję, mogłoby przyjść znudzenie.
This game can be played with two or more people, up to a maximum of five. Sometimes I like to play only with my boyfriend, and sometimes in a larger group, then the game becomes more interesting and difficult. Once I played in the company of a friend who mixed things up and I must admit that it was such a frustrating game that I prefer someone moderately difficult and you can enjoy the game more. Because a lot also depends on the strategy we choose. Sometimes it happens that players have too few trains to create some routes, or they cannot draw a train of a certain color, and there are not enough "colored" jocker trains, and this is also a lot of difficulties in achieving the dream goal, i.e. arranging all the intended routes. W tę grę można grać zarówno w dwie osoby, jak i w więcej, maksymalnie pięć. Ja lubię czasem grać tylko z chłopakiem, a niekiedy w większym gronie, wtedy gra robi się ciekawsza i trudniejsza. Raz grałam w towarzystwie kolegi, który wszystkim mieszał szyki i przyznam, że to była tak frustrująca rozgrywka, że wolę jak ktoś umiarkowanie utrudnia i można czerpać większą przyjemność z gry. Bo dużo zależy też od strategii jaką wybierzemy. Czasem zdarza się, że gracze mają za mało pociągów, żeby ułożyć jakieś trasy, albo nie mogą wylosować pociągu o określonym kolorze, a "kolorowych" pociągów jockerów jest za mało i to też są spore utrunienia w osiągnięciu wymarzonego celu, czyli ułożeniu wszystkich zamierzonych tras.
