What a week this has been. I started this week by giving myself a couple of things to do. I called it 'My development plan for a better week'. Feel free to check it out. Hehe.
If you've done something like this before, you will agree with the fact that there is something exciting about drawing such lifestyle plans. It's like flipping a coin of head or tails. You either hit those goals or make a mess of the to-do. Haha. It's hilarious.
From the way I sound, you should already have your guess about how I did with this week's plan. I'm incredibly excited about this. I know it's just a to-do but now that I've come to the end of the week, I'm feeling fairly excited.
You know that feeling of passing an Exam, right? Haha. That's what I'm feeling right now.
At the beginning of the week, the 3 plans I had were;
Read, write and curate.
Attend podcasts.
Sleep tight.
Looks at that. There is nothing ambiguous about the plan. If you ever want to set up a to-do or give yourself a target, I suggest you make it concise like mine.
Lemme use a minute to give you a brief idea of how I performed in each of these;
1. Read, write and curate: This is one of the healthy habits you can adopt. It was a joy to have that in my to-do for the week.
It's all win and no loss especially when you are doing it in a place like Hive where you can earn some cents. Hehe. I had so much fun with it and had fun burning my RC. Haha.
2. Join Podcasts: Oh, my! My love for this keeps getting bigger and I have a very special lady in the shadows to thank for introducing me to all these amazing Podcasts.
I have already been in 8 or 9 Podcasts this week and I have one scheduled for 3:30 am Saturday. That's just 4 hours or so from when I'm writing this post.
3. Sleep tight: I know you will be thinking... 'he is about to contradict his plan with that. Haha. To be fair, I didn't think there is a world where I will get to force myself to bed when I still have a bunch of things to do.
But I did. I figured out a way to do it. I sleep very late by 4 or 3am as usual, but I also got to start sleeping around 7 or 8pm each day. The way it works is that I first sleep for 2 hours or thereabout from 7 or 8pm. When I'm up around 10 or 11pm, I get busy with stuff until very early in the morning before squeezing in another sleep.
And that is exactly how I got to make the best of this week.
Now, I've got all my eyes on the weekend.
Look forward to some sporty updates, okay?
Not just sports. I also have a couple of kdrama reviews, recommendations and teasers to drop, but most of my data are on my laptop which (as you may know) is getting acupuncture in a suitable hospital. Haha.
To wrap this up, feel free to share how your week went. Did you have a good week? Hehe. I genuinely hope you did.
Let's all have a blast this weekend. Okay?
God be with y'all ✌️.
