. . .
The topic is getting harder day by day. It's not that I need thorough research to write something. It's just that it is hard when you talk about yourself.
This is day 3 of my 30-Day Blogging Challenge of . The biggest challenge in this topic is how to extract boring and ordinary into three or more paragraphs.
My waking time depends on my workload and the time I sleep. If my work is not about writing or proofreading, then I wake up around 9:00 AM. Else, I start working in the afternoon or evening depending on the task. Our team leader updates our schedule at night, so I already know what I will be doing the next day.
And yes, how ironic that I proofread when my blogs have wrong grammar sometimes. Oh well!
After I wake up, I prepare oats as my breakfast and consume it on my desk. I check my social media accounts including Peakd and Appics before I proceed to my email and my work email. I also check my Slack and Trello.
At noon, I cook and prepare our food then I eat together with my housemates. Then, I am back at my desk again. My work doesn't have a time tracker. It doesn't demand eight hours of working in a day. I just need to finish my work, and that's it. If I complete my work earlier than the schedule, then I can relax and do whatever I want. I watch Netflix or listen to an audiobook while I practice painting or calligraphy. If there is something on my mind, I need to write it first before scrolling through my Appics feeds and Peakd. Otherwise, it will be gone with the wind.
At 6:00 in the evening, I cook and eat. If there is urgent work, I do the task even if it is late in the evening. But if there is none, then I can continue writing while my other monitor is on Netflix.
I exercise at 9:30 PM. I'll be done for 45 minutes then rest for an hour so I could take a bath. While resting and after taking a bath, I'll be on Appics and Peakd. If my task is proofreading the manuals, then from 11:00 PM I'll be checking the manuals until I get sleepy. My mind is active at night. So I edit and check late in the evening until dawn. The next day, I'll recheck it. But this time, it's in the morning.
If you have noticed, I bath in the evening. I don't like the water here in Cebu City. The water in the morning and afternoon is hot. In my hometown, the water is cold that makes me spend 5 minutes staring at the water. In the summertime, I bought four ice packs and put them in the tub full of water just to experience bathing in cold water again. Oh, how I miss Timoga and Lawis in Buru-un, Iligan City!
That's it for my monotonous day in detail. Partly. I'm a couch potato and this set-up level up my procrastinator skills. I'm planning to reset my routine and plan it carefully. I should include studying in my daily routine.
