Very interesting and confusing I find this contest.
I have to take a photo of myself, that is a Self-Portrait, but that is not a Selfie, which means Self-Portrait. I can be a prostitute, gigolo or pornstar, but if someone else takes it, it doesn't count, because it is a Portrait and not a Self-Portrait.
Well, I had to talk to my other me, to see if I understood what that was like and that she took a photo of myself, that was authentic, artistic, and did not fall into the categories of Selfie or Portrait.
So as not to make the story any longer, here is what I could get.
This idea came from memory. A long time ago, there were some coin slot machines in some places in Caracas, where you entered a tiny dark room with red curtains, sat down and self-portrayed. And as a result, a black-and-white photo and a negative film with several photos came out of a slit for one to send out if they wanted. It was strange, but entertaining.
Maybe you didn't know them or don't remember it. Never mind. The photo they gave you was very similar to the one I took today with my Lumix Panasonic DMC-FS12 Camera and that participates in this contest. I just lacked the machine and the curtain behind me hehe
I hope it is a Self-Portrait and that you like it.
Muy interesante y confuso me parece este concurso.
Tengo que tomarme una foto de mi misma, que sea un Auto-Retrato, pero que no sea un Selfie, que significa Auto-Retrato. Puedo ser prostituta, gígolo o estrella porno, pero si me la toma otra persona, no se vale, porque es un Retrato y no un Auto-Retrato.
Bueno, tuve que conversar con mi otra Yo, para ver si entendía cómo era eso y que ella me tomara una foto a mí misma, que fuera auténtica, artística, y no cayera en las categorías de Selfie ni de Retrato.
Para no hacer más largo el cuento, aquí les dejo lo que pude obtener.
Esta idea surgió del recuerdo. Hace mucho tiempo, habían unas máquinas traga-monedas en algunos lugares de Caracas, donde uno se introducía en un diminuto cuartito oscuro con cortinas rojas, se sentaba y se auto-retrataba. Y, como resultado, por una rendija salía una foto en blanco y negro y una película en negativo con varias fotos para que uno las mandara a revelar, si lo deseaba. Era algo extraño, pero entretenido.
Tal vez, ustedes no las conocieron o no lo recuerdan. No importa. La foto que te entregaban era muy parecida a la que me tomé hoy con mi Camara Lumix Panasonic DMC-FS12y que participa en este concurso. Solo me faltó la máquina y la cortina a mis espaldas jeje
Espero que sea un Auto-Retrato y que les agrade.
