Keeping birds in cages at home and use them as bird pets has become a world wide phenomenon. You can find these cage birds in every second house. Some people understand the need of birds that they may require some space to fly so they make bigger cages but mostly these birds have to live in small cages. I also know that bird's sale has become a big market and people breed these birds at large scale for commercial purposes.
There is a variety of birds that are used as cage birds like lovebirds, finches, dove, parrots and Cockatiel etc. Most of these species are not found in wild in Pakistan. These small birds are very colorful and beautiful. As they spend all their life in cage so if they escape they might not survive in wild.
Now cage birds has become an industry so people try to take care of them properly. In every big city veterinary doctors are available who take care of these birds' vaccines. So if you plan to keep these birds then you must consider them as a family member and do proper care of them.
