The Red-vented Bulbul is a resident breeder of Margalla Hills, Islamabad. This bird is found all over Pakistan. This bird is easily adopted by the environment and can live in any condition. They are found in urban areas and in deep forests as well. I found this bird in every birding tour and mostly they are found in the company of Himalayan Bulbul.
I think that we can also place this bird in the Garden's Bird category. I mostly photograph this bird in my office garden. As they are not afraid of humans so I got some amazing shot of this bird. They are seen on top of the trees.
In urban areas, these birds are found near water sources. So in parks, they live near water taps. They are mostly found on fruit trees. They are also very territorial and have fights with other birds.
This bird is also very beautiful with a black crest and dark brown color. I daily see this bird around my house. They nest in the urban areas too. Living among House crow and myna is a difficult task but Red-vented bulbul has made this hard task possible.
