Saludos querida comunidad, no saben lo mucho que había estado esperando este momento pero como dicen por ahí, lo mejor para el final. Hace unos cuantos días les he estado comentando en publicaciones anteriores mi travesía y vivencias en la llamada "Ruta de despedida" de mi carrera universitaria, y luego de contarles con emoción sobre mis últimas defensas, mi último día de clases y la fabulosa clase magistral, hoy estoy emocionada por describirles en mi blog como fue para mí el día más esperado de todo el año ¡MI GRADUACIÓN!

Greetings dear community, you don't know how much I had been waiting for this moment but as they say, the best for last. A few days ago I have been telling you in previous posts about my journey and experiences in the so-called "Farewell Route" of my university career, and after telling you with excitement about my last defenses, my last day of classes and the fabulous master class, today I am excited to describe in my blog how was for me the most anticipated day of the whole year, MY GRADUATION!

El evento tenía lugar para el día 25 de noviembre, justo al día siguiente de mi clase magistral y aunque una noche antes me encontraba súper ansiosa, nerviosa, emocionada y melancólica, una vez que inició el día me sentí contenta; tan contenta como nunca antes lo había estado. Mi Familia llegó temprano a mi residencia para alistarse junto conmigo para el evento, aunque la verdad cuando ellos llegaron ya yo estaba muy adelantada puesto que me había despertado de madrugada para terminar de arreglar mi cabello, y empezar a ejecutar el maquillaje que tenía en mente para ese tía especial. Cómo no quería que me estuviesen apurando decidí hacer todo con tiempo y me resultó.

The event took place on November 25th, just the day after my master class and although the night before I was super anxious, nervous, excited and melancholic, once the day started I felt happy; as happy as I had never been before. My family arrived early to my residence to get ready with me for the event, although the truth is that when they arrived I was already very early since I had woken up early in the morning to finish fixing my hair, and start executing the makeup I had in mind for that special aunt. I didn't want to be rushed, so I decided to do everything in time and it worked out.

El evento se iba a efectuar en el teatro de la ciudad, se encontraba relativamente cerca de mi residencia así que no había que salir con tanta anticipación, al llegar allá nos tomaron a cada uno la respectiva foto firmando el libro y posteriormente se nos entregó la toga y el birrete. Al subir a la azotea me fijé en que varios de mis compañeros ya se encontraban allí tomándose fotos con mucha felicidad así que yo también aproveche de fotografiarme con mi grupo de siempre, mis mejores compañeros de estudio y ahora colegas. ❤️

The event was going to take place in the city's theater, it was relatively close to my residence so I didn't have to leave so far in advance, when we got there they took the respective picture of each of us signing the book and then we were given the cap and gown. When I went up to the roof I noticed that several of my classmates were already there taking pictures with great happiness so I also took the opportunity to take pictures with my usual group, my best classmates and now colleagues. ❤️

Estuvimos mucho tiempo de pie en la azotea del teatro, éramos aproximadamente 170 personas y había calor, yo empezaba a estresarme pero estaban dándonos las instrucciones de lo que debíamos hacer así que intente guardar la compostura hasta que al fin llegó el momento de entrar, yo me encontraba en una de las primeras filas así que estaba un poco asustada por bajar las escaleras ya que eran muy empinadas y no quería caer. Lo que puedo decirles es que cuando entre todo cambió. Deje de preocuparme y sentí una satisfacción gigante, habían muchas personas que nos aplaudían y eso me lleno el alma, lo describo como una situación irreal. 🥰💓

We were standing for a long time on the roof of the theater, we were approximately 170 people and it was hot, I was starting to get stressed but they were giving us the instructions of what we should do so I tried to keep my composure until finally it was time to enter, I was in one of the first rows so I was a little scared to go down the stairs as they were very steep and I didn't want to fall. What I can tell you is that when I entered everything changed. I stopped worrying and I felt a giant satisfaction, there were many people applauding us and that filled my soul, I describe it as an unreal situation. 🥰💓

El acto inició con el recibimiento de las autoridades universitarias y demás profesores, con algunas peticiones y demás formalidades que requiere un acto de graduación universitario. Luego de unos 15 minutos empezaron a llamar con nombre y apellido a los graduandos para recibir su título e imponerle su medalla. ❤️ Cuando fue mi turno de subir tomé un momento para respirar y hacerle una petición a la máxima autoridad de mi universidad (el rector) yo le peticioné que permitiera que mi padre subiera y estuviese conmigo en este momento tan importante para mí, y la máxima autoridad aceptó así que mi papá subió al escenario.

The ceremony began with the reception of the university authorities and other professors, with some petitions and other formalities that a university graduation ceremony requires. After about 15 minutes they began to call by name and surname the graduates to receive their degree and impose their medal. ❤️ When it was my turn to go up I took a moment to breathe and make a request to the highest authority of my university (the rector) I asked him to allow my father to go up and be with me in this important moment for me, and the highest authority accepted so my dad went up to the stage.

Soñé muchísimo con vivir este momento y por fin de hizo realidad, ver a mi papá llorando me conmovió mucho a tal punto de que ya me encontraba llorando yo también, nos abrazamos y mi papá me dedico unas palabras a través del micrófono. Todas las personas presentes se pusieron de pie y nos aplaudieron eso me hizo sentir tan feliz y orgullosa, fue allí cuando me di cuenta que lo he logrado todo en esta vida y que puedo seguir adelante para cumplir todo lo demás que se me ocurra en esta vida.

I dreamed a lot of living this moment and finally it came true, seeing my dad crying moved me a lot to the point that I was already crying too, we hugged and my dad dedicated some words to me through the microphone. All the people present stood up and applauded us, that made me feel so happy and proud, it was there when I realized that I have achieved everything in this life and that I can go on to accomplish everything else that comes my way in this life.

Mi papá demás me impuso mi medalla, no paramos de llorar pero de felicidad, todo el esfuerzo valió la pena, me dijo.

My dad, who was also pinning my medal on me, we couldn't stop crying but we were so happy, all the effort was worth it, he told me.

Mis queridos lectores, solo puedo decirles que aunque ya ha pasado casi un mes de este precioso momento siento una felicidad inmensa que no se separada de mi ser, ni aunque pasen los días y presiento además que con el paso de los años me sentiré igual. 🥰 Solo quiero agradecer a todas las personas que me apoyaron en este largo camino y no se separaron de mi, a quienes me levantaron el ánimo cuando sentía que ya no podía, no lo hubiese logrado sin esas personas. 💗🥰

My dear readers, I can only tell you that even though almost a month has passed since this precious moment I feel an immense happiness that will not leave my being, not even if the days go by and I also have a feeling that as the years go by I will feel the same way. 🥰 I just want to thank all the people who supported me on this long road and did not separate from me, those who lifted my spirits when I felt I could no longer, I would not have made it without those people. 💗🥰
