This is what you can do with an old pair of jeans that you got tired of but still is durable. Turn it into an apron. I would not be writing about the steps because most of you already know how to and this is quite simple to make.
I cut the one leg of the pants open and this is how it looks. If your pants still has those pockets you may use them to decorate the apron while maintaining their function. They make cute details to the apron.
See how it already looks like here,just attach some strips of the remaining material and you're good to go. This is too small for an adult so I made it for the kids. Everything I hand sewn it is up to you how to make the attachments maybe hot glue if you can't sew. You can further add details like buttons or patches and even paint it all depends on your creativity. This is our weekend project I know you can also create one
