Have you tried getting to know your actual self? wouldn't it be nice to actually understand ourselves and find more room to improve?
Self-assessment is a powerful practice in order to know our identity and what makes us as a person. Though it's a double edge sword practice but accepting the result with open mind will help you further in life.
There are several ways to do self-assessment scientifically. I personally love to do something simple from time to time. As in knowing my breakfast prefrenece and how has it changed over the course of time. Ofcourse, that is oversimplification of the whole process but from something small, you will start asking yourself a deeper question.
Start by asking simple questions
Through ripple effects, we will get to the point to understand how our actions matches the ideal life goal.If there is room for improvement in the way we interact with ourselves and surrounding, we can start taking actions.
Last night, while I was ordering books, I am reminded of a wisdom about self-investing. I couldn't forget verbatim but it was this very concept of your image is the reflection of your investment.
Why am I overweight? Why am I ignorant? Why don't I have enough money? Why do I wear shabby clothing? why do I have poor health? .These are ways to know if we have made better investment.
Finding out the cold truth about our investment might be harsh. But don't let is stop us to improve. Self-assessment is not a way to practice self-criticism and jealousy.
Today I am asking myself this question :
What are the skills I actually have and how confident I am with them?
