In this blog, I wanted to express my opinion about nazr. First, I have defined the concept of tradition according to the definition provided in Wikipedia.
And in the following, I will briefly explain the nazri in Iran and express my opinion about the best nazr.
Nazr is a vow or commitment to carry out an act. The failure to fulfill the commitment results in the need to take a compensating action, often of a charitable nature, such as feeding the poor. Nazr can also take the form of tribute to a superior or the payment of a fee when taking office. The concept is ancient and recurs throughout the history of the Islamic world. For instance in 1632, Mirza Zulqarnain, a Christian official in the Mughul Empire, paid nazr of five elephants to the Mughal Court.

I went for a walk today, now we are in a religious period in Iran, known as the Fatimiyya. During these days and Muharram, the largest amount of Nazri is usually given.
Usually in Iran, those who have Nazr. In the alleys and streets (various types of food (and tea)) they offer Nazr to the neighbors and the poor.

I will use my knowledge to make offerings.
Nazr in Zoroastrianism (the traditional religion of Iranians) also has a meaning, the best way to make a minoy offering (vow) in Zoroastrian's view is to do a good deed. It is obvious that anyone who has a special art and ability deserves to give a part of his property (art, knowledge, wealth, speech) to the needy. Humans have needs in various material and mental areas, so everyone is in need in some way. On the other hand, every human being has different physical and mental capabilities, some of which are superior and more than others.
