El fin de semana pasado estuve recorriendo varios parques de mi ciudad Maracaibo para compartirles algunas fotografías de sus espacios, entre ellos estuve de visita en el Parque General Rafael Urdaneta, nombrado así en honor a este personaje histórico crucial en la Independencia de Venezuela y que nació en esta ciudad.
El parque cuenta con algunos monumentos para conmemorar las batallas ocurridas para liberar a nuestro país del yugo español, así como espacios para el esparcimiento y hermosas fuentes de agua que les estaré mostrando en otra publicación. También hay un balancín para extraer petróleo, para representar que nuestro estado Zulia es donde se encuentran las mayores reservas de petróleo en el país.
