El día de hoy quiero hablarles un poco sobre un pequeño proyecto que tengo desde hace un tiempo ya , el cual recientemente he decidido continuarlo y hacerlo crecer un poco más para dedicarme a ello.

A finales del año 2019 emprendí en un nuevo proyecto en el cual poco tiempo después me uní con mi amiga

¿Cómo nació este proyecto y de que se trata?
Como mujer se que a todas nos gustan los accesorios y el maquillaje, nos gusta combinarnos con la ropa que llevamos, enloquecemos cuando vemos la variedad de modelos y colores al punto que es difícil elegir una sola pieza y terminamos comprando muchas cositas lindas. Lo mismo sucede con el maquillaje, existen tantos cosméticos para realizar todo tipo de maquillajes, tantos tonos y colores que queremos todo lo que vemos aunque no sepamos como utilizar cada uno de esos productos, como en mi caso que sólo se usar lo básico.
En base a todo eso, se me ocurrió vender artículos para chicas, variedad de accesorios como zarcillos, collares, tobilleras, cintillos, pulseras, ganchos para el cabello y diferentes cosméticos como polvos compactos, labiales, bases, esponjas, máscara de pestañas entre otras cosas como perfumes y poco a poco fui agregando mas artículos a mi stock a medida que se me iba ocurriendo cosas para incluir.
¿How was this project born and what is it about?
As a woman I know that we all like accessories and makeup, we like to combine with the clothes we wear, we go crazy when we see the variety of models and colors to the point that it is difficult to choose a single piece and we end up buying many beautiful things. The same happens with makeup, there are so many cosmetics to do all kinds of makeup, so many shades and colors that we want everything we see even though we don't know how to use each of those products, as in my case I only use the basics.
Based on all that, it occurred to me to sell items for girls, a variety of accessories such as earrings, necklaces, anklets, headbands, bracelets, hair clips and different cosmetics such as compact powders, lipsticks, foundations, sponges, mascara among others. things like perfumes and little by little I was adding more items to my stock as I came up with things to include.
Quise iniciar mi emprendimiento de la mejor manera posible, así que creé una cuenta en instagram para promocionar mis artículos y aumentar las ventas, de esta manera también conseguir clientes de diferentes lugares y no sólo de mi entorno cercano. Con la ayuda de mi novio creamos un logo para mi página la cual decidí llamar "Marys Glam Store".
❥Marys por mi nombre (María).
❥Glam significa glamour, encanto, elegancia y era lo que yo quería ofrecer con mis artículos, además que abarcaba más que solo maquillaje y cosméticos.
❥Store que significa tienda en inglés y justo eso era lo que yo quería, formar una especie de tienda online.
I wanted to start my business in the best possible way, so I created an Instagram account to promote my articles and increase sales, in this way also getting customers from different places and not just from my close environment. With the help of my boyfriend we created a logo for my page which I decided to call "Marys Glam Store".
❥ Marys by my name (Maria).
❥ Glam means glamor, charm, elegance and it was what I wanted to offer with my articles, plus it encompassed more than just makeup and cosmetics.
❥ Store which means store in English and that's exactly what I wanted, to form a kind of online store.
Una vez iniciadas las ventas me esforcé mucho en hacer publicidad a mi página y mis productos, pedí ayuda a algunas amigas para que compartieran mi página y así poder llegar a muchas más personas y en cierto modo funcionó, alcancé los 500 seguidores rápidamente, algo que fue un gran logro para mi.
Once the sales started I made a lot of effort to advertise my page and my products, I asked some friends for help to share my page and thus be able to reach many more people and in a way it worked, I reached 500 followers quickly, something that it was a great achievement for me.
Me sentía muy emocionada porque todo marchaba bien, mi pequeña tienda virtual estaba en crecimiento y eso me llenaba de felicidad, pero apenas comenzó la cuarentena todo eso cambió, las ventas bajaron ya que las personas daban prioridad a cosas más necesarias que los cosméticos y bisutería, además ya se resultaba muy difícil o mejor dicho imposible adquirir mercancía nueva para vender debido a que no podía salir de casa, muchas personas seguían saliendo a la calle aún en plena pandemia y yo por temor a contagiarme decidí vender lo que tenía hasta agotar la existencia de los artículos, a partir de allí fui abandonando mi página ya que no tenía nada para vender y con el tiempo mis seguidores la fueron olvidando, sin embargo seguía manteniendolos allí.
La situación durante la cuarentena fue poniéndose cada vez más difícil económicamente hablando, lo cual era otro motivo que me impedía hacer una inversión para mi emprendimiento. Luego de un año de esto he decidido retomar las ventas y mi página, comencé a buscar proveedores de mercancía, comparar precios, tomé nota de ideas, marcas y productos y con un poco de mis ahorros de Hive ya he realizado mi primera compra, la cual viene en camino y pronto tendré en mis manos para comenzar nuevamente en el mundo de las ventas en redes sociales. Me siento muy emocionada por retomar este proyecto que hace mucho había abandonado pero que hoy gracias a Hive tengo nuevamente la oportunidad de recuperar.
I was very excited because everything was going well, my little virtual store was growing and that filled me with happiness, but as soon as the quarantine began, all that changed, sales fell as people gave priority to things more necessary than cosmetics and jewelry In addition, it was already very difficult or better said impossible to acquire new merchandise to sell because I could not leave the house, many people continued to go out even in the middle of the pandemic and I, for fear of getting infected, decided to sell what I had until I was exhausted. existence of the articles, from there I left my page since I had nothing to sell and over time my followers forgot it, however I continued to keep them there.
The situation during the quarantine became increasingly difficult economically speaking, which was another reason that prevented me from making an investment for my business. After a year of this I have decided to resume sales and my page, I started looking for merchandise suppliers, comparing prices, I took note of ideas, brands and products and with a little of my savings from Hive I have already made my first purchase, the which is on the way and soon I will have in my hands to start again in the world of sales in social networks. I am very excited to resume this project that I had abandoned long ago but that today thanks to Hive I have the opportunity to recover again.
