Hello dear friends, I have shared this dance on several occasions. I really like the Caribbean rhythms. My grandfather instilled in me, from a very young age, a love of traditions for the joy of living.
idea that a woman dancing moving the ass is seen as a sexual provocation for the male gaze but really from the physical point of view it is beneficial since it tones our body because I tried it this time.
It is a very complete exercise in which legs, glutes, abdomen and lower back are toned.
Helps lose weight and
Stimulates the cardiovascular system: tones the heart and improves blood circulation.
In this part, my post will share the origin of the music rhythm that I am dancing in the beginning part.
Caribbean music includes different musical styles and traditions from the Caribbean islands, ranging from traditional folk genres to contemporary folk rhythms.
Today I am going to tell you about a genre of Indo-Caribbean music that is found in the southern Caribbean and is popular in Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, Suriname, Jamaica, other parts of the Caribbean, Fiji, Mauritius and South Africa, known as
Chutney
in this style they fuse the Bhojpuri music that comes from India
The language is an official language of Nepal and a minority language in Guyana, Trinidad and Tobago, Suriname, South Africa and Mauritius is the Caribbean Hindustani. with local music.
This style of music is quite similar to salsa and is typical of the Caribbean that speaks English as a mother tongue or has a great command of it.
Chutney was born on the island of Trinidad and Tobago.
The evolution of chutney music is closely linked to that of calypso, a genre typical of the black population to which their compatriots add elements of traditional Indian folklore, mainly those of the Bhojpuri region. Therefore, we can treat it as an adaptation to the Indian language and culture rather than a genre in itself.
The musical instruments used in this rhythm are: dholak (hardwood, two-patch membranophone musical instrument, typical of the regions of the Indian subcontinent) the harmonium (wind instrument with keyboard, similar in appearance to the organ, but without tubes) and the dhantal (percussion instrument. It consists of a long steel bar that is held with one hand and struck with the other hand with a U-shaped piece of metal. It is used by Trinitarians and Surinamese).
Soca and chutney are the most important music in Trinidad and Tobago and with which they entertain their famous carnival. This style has spread to other countries.
one of my favorite singers is Chris Garcia, he sings with a lot of style, rhythm and flavor.
Until a new opportunity dear friends, the chutney rhythm is a good example of how Indo-Trinitarians have taken root in Trinidad and have created a form of original music I hope you enjoy this writing God bless you ..
