The two-week rainy and cold period seems to be over. It's sunny and warm again. I've got some work to do on the rails in the front porch.
Our apple trees do not seem to yield nearly as much as the last two summers which is a good thing. The apples aren't of very good quality and the sheer number of them overwhelmed us. Only a couple of branches seem to be bearing fruit this time. We've been considering cutting down the old trees and planting new ones.
The plum tree seems to be growing some fruit. I'll have my work cut out for me in more ways than one later this summer.
