[ESP-ENG] VIAJE EXPRESS A CARIPE / EXPRESS TRIP TO CARIPE

Hello friends of the HIVE Community!

Este viaje no fue planeado pero si muy esperado! Ese día nos levantamos muy temprano porque la noche anterior nos invitaron a Caripe.

This trip was not planned but long awaited! That day we got up very early because the night before they invited us to Caripe.

Caripe queda en el Estado Monagas, Venezuela. Se le conoce también como EL PULMÒN VEGETAL DE MONAGAS ya que es un pueblo con una vegetación increíble y de siembra.

Caripe is in Monagas State, Venezuela. It is also known as THE VEGETABLE LUNG OF MONAGAS since it is a town with incredible vegetation and planting.

Tenía mucho tiempo con ganas de ir y de visitar a mi Papa que ya tenía un tiempo que se había ido a trabajar para allá. Me encanta ese lugar! Su aroma, la vista que nos ofrece, el clima, su gente!

I had wanted to go and visit my Dad for a long time, who had already gone to work there for a long time. I love that place! Its aroma, the view it offers us, the climate, its people!

Como les venía contando, nos levantamos muy temprano, nos arreglamos, colamos el café de la mañana que no podía faltar para despertar el alma y nos fuimos.

As I was telling you, we got up very early, we got ready, we sneaked the morning coffee that we could not miss to wake up our souls and we left.

Iniciamos el viaje entre cuentos y risas, llegamos rápido, aproximadamente en 1 hora y media. Aunque Evan iba muy cómodo y dormido.

We started the journey between stories and laughter, we arrived quickly, in approximately 1 hour and a half. Although Evan was very comfortable and asleep.

Al llegar ya se nos notaba la alegría no se qué pasa en Caripe que hasta el humor te cambia, realmente la naturaleza relaja el alma.

When we arrived, we could already see the joy, I don't know what happens in Caripe that even the mood changes you, nature really relaxes the soul.

Llamamos a mi papá y nos indico la dirección. Estaba Feliz de ver a mi papá, lo extrañaba muchísimo, tenia meses que no lo veía.

We called my dad and he gave us the address. I was happy to see my dad, I missed him a lot, I hadn't seen him for months.

También estaba mi Abuela! Que sorpresa más agradable.

There was also my Grandmother! What a pleasant surprise.

La conseguimos haciendo hallacas. Mi abuela es una señora de casi 90 años pero aun activa en la cocina y no ha perdido para nada la sazón de sus comidas.

We get it by doing Hallas. My grandmother is a lady of almost 90 years but still active in the kitchen and has not lost the seasoning of her meals at all.

Evan conoció a su bisabuela.

Evan met his great grandmother.

Pasamos un rato agradable conversando y por supuesto acompañados de una taza de café. Recorrimos el lugar y disfrutamos de la excelente vista que tenían las cabañas.

We had a nice time talking and of course accompanied by a cup of coffee. We toured the place and enjoyed the excellent view that the cabins had.

Estaba maravillada de las flores que adornaban la casa. Nos regalaron lechugas frescas y naranjas.

She was in awe of the flowers that adorned the house. They gave us fresh lettuce and oranges.

Soy de las que valora cada detalle, y ese viaje en familia me hizo comprender aun más la importancia de demostrar a diario a nuestros seres queridos el amor que les tenemos.

I am one of those who values every detail, and that family trip made me understand even more the importance of showing our loved ones our love for them on a daily basis.
