After what felt like an eternity — actually, just two days, but it felt like years, lol — we finally received our salary.
‎
‎The moment the deposit hit our account — which happened just this morning — we couldn't wait to withdraw some of it.
‎
‎It's because the fridge and pantry were completely empty.
‎
‎While my hubby patiently waited in line at the ATM, I looked around and noticed a new Watson's that had opened in our town.
As a lady, I always loved browsing there, especially in places where I could find little treats and essentials.
‎
‎But not today, we're on a tight budget. 😅
‎
‎After my hubby got the cash out, we headed to the grocery store.
‎We picked up some essentials — chicken for today's lunch, noodles, canned goods, and a few other necessities to stock up.
It felt so good to finally have the funds and be able to do a little shopping without worries.
‎
‎After we finished shopping, we realized we also needed some bread.
‎
‎So we headed to a nearby bakery.
‎
‎As I browsed the selection of baked goods, an old woman and her granddaughter approached me.
‎
‎They were curious about the price of the donuts, and even though it was clearly visible, I kindly stated the price to her.
Suddenly, she turned to me and said she wanted two pink donuts for her apo.
‎
‎Of course, I was happy to help.
‎
‎I approached the cashier, asked for a plastic bag, then carefully picked out the two pink donuts.
‎
‎I handed it to her and proceeded to the counter.
I also get a loaf and finish my purchase.
‎
‎And that's how we ended up with our groceries...
‎
‎Until our next shopping...
‎
‎Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸
