En la Amazonía se denomina “ícaro” al canto o melodía que utilizan los maestros curanderos durante las ceremoniales rituales que realizan. Aunque no posee traducción literal en idioma castellano, quechua u otra lengua de la zona, su significado es de vital importancia en las ceremonias. El canto shamánico es el Instrumento curativo, la sabiduría y el vehículo de la energía del curandero, el símbolo real de su poder y conocimiento.

Finalmente, creemos que el ícaro es la llave que nos abre las puertas de la conciencia superior, el sonido que nos lleva a los cielos y a los brazos de nuestra MADRE AYAHUASCA.
