Ecuador, durante mis 4 años acá, han sido las pocas veces que hemos realizado algo de turismo, los primeros 2 años por motivo que establecernos era la prioridad y los otros 2 años siguiente por la pandemia, nos cuidamos mucho ya que tenemos una bebé de apenas 9 meses.

Hace poco por cuestiones de tramites, nos tocó viajar a Guayaquil, de manta hasta allá es un recorrido de casi 5 horas, sin duda es un viaje agotador ya que debíamos ir y regresar el mismo día a manta.
Recently, due to some paperwork, we had to travel to Guayaquil, from Manta to Guayaquil is a journey of almost 5 hours, it is undoubtedly an exhausting trip since we had to go and return the same day to Manta.
Al llegar allá, hacer los trámites fue rápido, pero como todo extranjero decidimos tomarnos 3 horas para caminar y conocer un poco, así que nos decidimos ir al malecón 2000 que estaba cerca de donde nos encontrábamos y así disfrutar un poco de Guayaquil, estar ahí nos hizo recordar cuando viviamos en la capital de Venezuela, la vida aquí es bastante movida, hay mucha pero mucha gente, el tráfico vehicular con su debido atasco en hora del medio día no podía faltar, incluso la inseguridad 🤯, Guayaquil por ser tan movidad, goza de mala reputación en cuanto el hurto así que el hecho de ir y estar allá disfrutando implica estar atento al 1000%, (nos hizo sentir como si estuviéramos en Caracas jajajaja) parece chiste pero es anécdota, pero sin duda es una ciudad muy hermosa y calurosa (más que manta que es costa).
Arriving there, doing the paperwork was fast, but like all foreigners we decided to take 3 hours to walk and get to know a little, so we decided to go to the Malecon 2000 which was near where we were and enjoy a little of Guayaquil, being there made us remember when we lived in the capital of Venezuela, life here is quite busy, there are lots and lots of people, the vehicular traffic with its due traffic jam at noon could not miss, even the insecurity 🤯, Guayaquil for being so busy, enjoys a bad reputation in terms of theft so the fact of going and being there enjoying implies being attentive to 1000%, (it made us feel like we were in Caracas hahahaha) seems joke but it is anecdote, but it is certainly a very beautiful and warm city (more than manta which is coast).
Decidimos pasear por el malecón 2000 que estaba cerca de donde nos encontrábamos, el cual contaba con un pequeños parque de atracción, amamos estar ahí, pues habías bastante árboles lo que hacía que en esa zona del malecón fuese fresco el ambiente, por ende placentero estar ahí, aparte que recorrerlo tomaría tiempo por lo amplio que es.
We decided to walk along the Malecon 2000 that was close to where we were, which had a small park attraction, we loved being there, because there were enough trees which made the atmosphere in that area of the boardwalk was cool, therefore pleasant to be there, besides it would take time to go through it because of how wide it is.

Al bajarnos continuamos conociendo, estaba cerca de la zona, el Centro cultural Simón Bolívar, un museo bastante interesante y aunque disfrutamos recorrerlo fue casi imposible tomar foto dentro de sus instalaciones, ya que no estaba permitido en las mayor parte del mismo.
When we got off the bus, we continued to visit the Simón Bolívar Cultural Center, a very interesting museum and although we enjoyed touring it, it was almost impossible to take pictures inside its facilities, since it was not allowed in most of it.
Sin duda fue grato conocer un poco más de Ecuador, ya siendo la cerca de la 5 de la tarde decidimos retornar a manta, llegamos casi a la 11 de la noche súper agotados pero contentos de haber realizado satisfactoriamente nuestros trámites y recorrido un poco Guayaquil.
It was certainly nice to know a little more of Ecuador, and being around 5 pm we decided to return to Manta, we arrived almost at 11 pm super exhausted but happy to have successfully completed our paperwork and traveled a little Guayaquil.
