Being a photographer doesn't mean taking pictures of the world left and right, nor does it mean taking pictures just to fill out a portfolio, they should make sense and tell a story, (whenever possible) since, at the end of the day, if we publish them in our profile, they are a record of our capabilities.
In the rules of composition, we can find an ally that shows us the way to follow to achieve photographs more pleasing to the human eye, although it is not always necessary to follow them, nor is it an obligation, sometimes breaking all the established rules can give that boost we need to create the next viral success of the whole Internet.
For me who has always mentioned that I am learning the techniques of photography on my own, along with editing the RAW files, publishing the content within #HIVE, is a way to keep that record public and accessible to anyone who is interested in seeing my progress, although to be honest, Instagram has been more helpful because it is an app for photographers and their photographs, not including money, the likes are more organic and you get them because they really liked your image.
Don't get me wrong, making a post and earning something in return is good, but in what I'm currently looking for, Instagram is more helpful.
For example the following picture, I thought about it since the other day I walked by Forum Tepic, we are in the middle of the contingency and for that reason the place is alone, next to it there is Sam's Club, place that is open and for that reason we see vehicles in the place.
| Category | Street Photography |
|---|---|
| Camera | Canon EOS Rebel T6 |
| Lens | Canon 18-55mm |
| Aperture | F/3.5 |
| Shutter speed | 1/500 s |
| Focal length | 18 mm |
| ISO | 100 |
| Flash | No |
But, the day I thought about the photography I walked around at noon, and I only brought my 50mm lens, so I had to go again yesterday, but with the most angular lens I have, the 18-55mm kit lens, and at sunset, since I imagined the colors like that, besides I also had planned to apply a technique in which the photograph is cut to look bigger and panoramic before going up to Instagram, although this time I only did it in two parts:
| Left | Right |

Maybe you don't understand the story behind the picture, you probably should know more about the city, but for anyone who lives here, it's understandable and nostalgic to see the contrast and the abandonment of the place, (usually it's full of visitors) and the economic activity is huge in the place, so there you have the story to understand it, haha.
Finally, I only have to present you the original photograph, it doesn't look as good as the edited one, I didn't add things, I just enhanced the hidden colors of the photograph, and I think that's the photographer's vision, to have the patience to take the picture at the right time, and to see from the beginning all the hidden beauty around us.
That would be all for the moment, thanks for visiting my post, and see you soon!
