Hello people writer, greetings and blessings; once I mentioned that I really like crafts and today I proposed to bring something from my magic workshop for the blog; next I present you a simple way to make a bag recycling materials that we have at home, it's a super practical and beautiful idea that I improvised in quarantine and that is very useful because it doesn't compromise our pocket, and well both men and women need a change of bag from time to time, this is my version of recycling I hope it inspires you to make yours.
Hola gente escritora, saludos y bendiciones; una vez mencioné que me gustan mucho las manualidades y hoy me propuse traer algo de mi taller mágico para el blog; a continuación les presento una forma sencilla de elaborar un bolso reciclando materiales que tenemos en casa, es una idea súper práctica y bella que improvisé en cuarentena y que resulta muy útil porque no compromete nuestro bolsillo, y bueno tanto hombres como mujeres necesitan un cambio de bolso de vez en cuando, esta es mi versión de reciclaje espero que te inspire para hacer el tuyo.
I made this hanging bag using a thick fabric panty that I found hidden among my things, but if you want to do it you can use an old jean, a skirt, even a dress, you just have to try to get a fabric that covers the size of the bag and is quite resistant; you can also reduce the size or even increase it, the trick is to adapt this idea to your needs.
Realicé este bolso colgante utilizando una braga de tela gruesa que encontré escondida entre mis cosas, pero si quieren hacerlo pueden utilizar un jean viejo, una falda, incluso un vestido, solo deben procurar conseguir una tela que cubra el tamaño del bolso y sea bastante resistente; además pueden reducir el tamaño o incluso aumentarlo, el truco es adaptar esta idea a tus necesidades.
También utilicé hilo del color de la tela, (yo lo cocí a mano pero si trabajas con la máquina de coser será mucho más rápido); una tela secundaria con estampado para darle más estilo y hacerlo más bonito, un cierre largo para bolso, yo usé uno de un bolso roto que tenía, si es el caso debes despegarlo con cuidado para evitar dañarlo y que quede intacto, puedes comprarlo si deseas pero como se trata de reciclar ocupé uno que tenía). También un poco de algodón, y una tela sencilla pero que combinaba para el forro; nada más, con estos sencillos materiales lo elaboré y tú también puedes inventar uno, por eso acá dejo unos consejos.

The first thing you must do is to fix your fabric, if you use a jean you must cut it and sew the lower part (legs of the jean) as if you were making a skirt, if it is another garment disassemble it to take advantage of each part of the fabric and then proceed to cut the parts; in my design the front piece is the same back, the sides are formed by a long and wide strip long enough to cover all the edges, mine is 109cm long by 8 cm wide.
Lo primero que debes realizar es arreglar tu tela, si usas un jean debes cortarlo y coser la parte inferior (patas del jean) como si hicieras una falda, si es otra prenda desármala para aprovechar cada parte de la tela y luego procede a cortar las partes; en mi diseño la pieza delantera es la misma trasera, los laterales están formados por una tira larga y ancha lo suficientemente larga como para cubrir todos los bordes, el mío tiene 109cm de largo por 8 cm de ancho.
So are the straps but the length of these will depend on taste, I placed 70cm long by 5.6 cm d wide, and the lining is formed from the same pieces except for the straps, the top of the strip of the edges has an opening, both in the bag as such as the lining, this is the opening where I placed the closure, the size depends on the length of the closure.
Así también son los tirantes pero el largo de estos va a depender del gusto, yo les coloqué 70cm de largo por 5,6 cm d ancho, y el forro se forma de las mismas piezas con excepción de los tirantes, la parte superior de la tira de los bordes cuenta con una abertura, tanto en la del bolso como tal como en la del forro, esta es la abertura donde coloqué el cierre, el tamaño depende de la longitud del cierre.
The assembly of the bag is very exciting to see that everything is taking shape, the main advice is to be patient to make it look good, first you must assemble the straps, are folded in half so that the right side of the fabric is inward, is sewn along the edge and finally turned, you can iron them so they are flat and not raised. Then you must join the front and back with the edges, in this particular model I found more feasible to glue the closure before, you always have to work as you fit better, then I joined the other parts, for this I helped myself with pins that kept the pieces together .
El armado del bolso es muy emocionante al ver que todo va tomando forma, el principal consejo es tener paciencia para que quede bien; primero debes armar los tirantes, se doblan a la mitad de manera que la parte derecha de la tela quede hacia adentro, se cose por todo el borde y finalmente se voltean, puedes plancharlos para que queden planos y no levantados. Luego se debe unir la parte delantera y trasera con los bordes, en este modelo en particular me resultó más factible pegar el cierre antes, tu siempre debes trabajar como te acomodes mejor, luego uní las demás partes, para ello me ayudé de alfileres que mantenían las piezas juntas .
Starting with the front I placed the printed fabric on it and then I started sewing the strip along the edge starting from one of the lower corners so that the junction point was hidden, (for this you must face the rights of both fabrics); then I attached the back, also facing the rights; before starting to sew I pinned the straps of the bag to make it easier.
Iniciando con la delantera ubiqué la tela estampada sobre esta y posteriormente comencé a coser la tira por todo el borde comenzando desde una de las esquinas inferiores para que quedara oculto el punto de unión, (para ello debes enfrentar los derechos de ambas telas); seguidamente anexé la cara trasera, igualmente enfrentando los derechos; antes de comenzar a coser sujeté con alfileres los tirantes del bolso para hacerlo más fácil.

At this point the bag was almost ready, I only had to make the lining, I did it in the same way joining the sides with the front and back, to join it I turned the bag and so the other way around I introduced it into the lining through the opening of the zipper, then I cooked gluing each part of the lining to the bag with a decorative point, when I turned the lining was inside. And finally to decorate, I made it with heart applications of the same fabric and a black fabric to combine with cotton fillings to give it volume, but here you have to let your imagination fly.
Ya para este punto el bolso estaba casi listo, solo restaba hacer el forro, lo hice de la misma manera uniendo los laterales con la parte delantera y trasera, para unirlo le di vuelta al bolso y así al revés lo introduje dentro del forro armado a través de la abertura del cierre, luego cocí pegando cada parte del forro al bolso con un punto decorativo, al darle vuelta el forro quedó en el interior. Y finalmente a decorar, yo lo hice con aplicaciones de corazón de la misma tela y una tela negra para combinar rellenos con algodón para darle volumen, pero acá se debe dejar volar la imaginación.
And well this is a little guide of how I did it, but the essence of this post is the Inventive, take this idea and make it yours, create your own patterns, designs, models, invent a bag that no one has ever seen and be original; here you can realize that if you can, that you don't need to be an expert, you don't necessarily need a sewing machine, if you don't have it you can do it with your hands, you just need ingenuity, imagination and a lot of desire to do it.
Y bueno esta es una pequeña guía de cómo lo hice yo, pero la esencia de este post es la Inventiva, toma esta idea y vuélvela tuya, crea tus propios patrones, diseños, modelos, inventa un bolso que nadie nunca haya visto y se original; acá te puedes dar cuenta de que si se puede, que no necesitas ser un experto, no necesitas de una máquina de coser necesariamente, si no tienes puedes hacerlo con tus manos, solo necesitas ingenio, imaginación y muchas ganas de hacerlo.
