Hello dear friends, many blessings to the whole community, May is finally the month of mothers and so I want to take this opportunity to talk to you about them, about those beautiful fighters who love us unconditionally, who protect us even though we have grown up and who every day look after us without expecting anything in return, because sometimes we forget to give a smile to mom, to say good morning, I love you, I love you, to say thank you for loving me, thank you for taking care of me when in fact they deserve all the love in the world and even more.

Hola queridos amigos, muchas bendiciones a toda la comunidad, ya por fin ha llegado Mayo el mes de las madres y por eso quiero aprovechar la ocasión para hablarles de ellas, de esas hermosas luchadoras que nos aman sin condiciones, que nos protegen aunque hayamos crecido y que cada día velan por nosotros sin esperar nada a cambio, y es que a veces nos olvidamos de regalarle una sonrisa a mamá, de decirle buenos días, te amo, te quiero, de decirle gracias por quererme, gracias por cuidarme cuando en realidad ellas se merecen todo el amor del mundo y aún más.

That is why today I want us to remember that loving a mother is not just buying her gifts, or giving her a card, or visiting her in May only, it is more than that, it is the little details that we often ignore that make happy the woman who gave us life and who would also give hers to see us smile.

Por eso hoy quiero que recordemos que amar a una madre no es únicamente comprarle regalos, ni darle una tarjeta, o visitarla en mayo solamente, es más que eso, son los pequeños detalles que muchas veces ignoramos los que hacen feliz a la mujer que nos dio la vida y que también daría la suya por vernos sonreír.

A mother's love is something very difficult to understand, only when a child becomes a father can he fully understand his mother's devotion to him, the love she gives him, the patience she offers him, because really it is something inexplicable you have to live it to understand it, a mother gives everything for her child fights and struggles so as to see the fruit of her womb well no matter what she has to risk, no matter how her children are, she will always love with all her heart that little piece of her being and will be willing to protect it.

El amor de madre es algo muy difícil de entender, solo cuando un hijo se convierte en padre puede comprender a cabalidad la devoción de su madre hacia él, el cariño que le brinda, la paciencia que le ofrece, porque realmente es algo inexplicable hay que vivirlo para entenderlo, una madre da todo por su hijo lucha y pelea con tal de ver bien al fruto de su vientre sin importar lo que tenga que arriesgar, no importa como sean los hijos, ella siempre amará con todo su corazón ese pedacito de su ser y estará dispuesta a protegerle.

However, sometimes we children do not treat them in the same way, or we do not show them that we also love them, and sometimes that silence can translate into absence, that is why it is important to show love to the woman who loves us like no other always, to give everything for her as she does for us, even to know her, since sometimes we do not even take the time to talk to her and ask her how she is.

Sin embargo a veces los hijos no las tratamos del mismo modo, o no les demostramos que también las amamos y en ocasiones ese silencio puede traducirse en ausencia, por eso es importante demostrarle amor a la mujer que nos ama como ninguna otra siempre, entregar todo por ella como ella lo hace por nosotros, aún conocerla, ya que a veces ni siquiera dedicamos un tiempo para hablarle y preguntarle como está.

Usually children think they know their mother, they think they love her but it is not enough to believe it, it takes much more than that, you have to show it, knowing that they know us perfectly, more than ourselves and they love us more than themselves, they have given us everything and in comparison maybe we have not given anything when we can give more, it is time to balance the scale and give mom as much love as she has given us, not only on Mother's Day but every day of our lives.

Por lo general los hijos creen que conocen a su mamá, creen que la aman pero no basta con creérselo hace falta mucho más que eso, hay que demostrarlo, sabiendo que ellas nos conocen a la perfección, más que nosotros mismos y nos aman más que a sí mismas, nos han dado todo y en comparación quizá no hemos dado nada cuando podemos dar más, es tiempo de equilibrar la balanza y darle a mamá tanto amor como ella nos ha dado, no solo el día de las madres sino cada día de nuestras vidas.

Every day I wake up and my mother is already awake fighting to give us food; if I have a problem she looks for a solution where there is none, she always tries to help me even putting my problems before hers, no matter how much I have grown she treats me with the delicacy of the first day she held me in her arms; because that is how a real mother is, she has a gift to bring out a smile in you, with just one kiss from her a thousand problems disappear, and when they hug you it is like being in the safest place in the world.

Cada día me despierto y mi madre ya está despierta luchando por darnos de comer; si tengo algún problema ella busca una solución donde no la hay, siempre trata de ayudarme incluso anteponiendo mis problemas a los suyos, no importa cuánto haya crecido ella me trata con la delicadeza del primer día que me tuvo entre sus brazos; porque así es una verdadera madre, tiene un don para sacarte una sonrisa, con un solo beso de ella desaparecen mil problemas, y cuando te abrazan es como estar en el lugar más seguro del mundo.

You feel as if you were a child again, like a little boy in his mother's arms, as if everything around you disappeared and nothing on the face of the earth could hurt you because she is with you, there is no doubt that she is a virtuous woman, because as the Bible says "Her esteem far surpasses that of precious stones" and I feel lucky to have her.

Te sientes como si de nuevo fueras un niño, como un pequeñito en los brazos de su mamá, como si todo alrededor desapareciera y nada sobre la faz de la tierra pudiera hacerte daño porque ella está contigo, no cabe duda de que es una mujer virtuosa, porque como dice la biblia " Su estima sobrepasa largamente a la de las piedras preciosas" y me siento afortunada de tenerla.

Not everyone is fortunate enough to have a mother by their side, so those of us who have one should value her more, we cannot go back in time and change something we did wrong or perhaps relive moments with her, but what we can do is offer her our love now as we have never done before, knowing that we will never be able to pay her back for all her care, her sacrifices, her tears, all her unattainable love.

No todos tienen la fortuna de tener una madre a su lado, por eso quienes la tenemos debemos valorarla más, no podemos retroceder el tiempo y cambiar algo que hicimos mal o quizá revivir momentos con ella, pero lo que si podemos hacer es brindarle nuestro amor ahora como nunca lo habíamos hecho, sabiendo que nunca tendremos como pagarle todo su desvelo, sus sacrificios, sus lagrimas, todo su amor inalcanzable.

So it is true that not all mothers are true, they say that a mother is the one who raises perhaps because any woman in good physical condition can have a child, but not every woman can be a true mother, since not all have the virtue of caring for and protecting a child, of loving it and giving it the best of herself, in this you meet a true mother, in that she loves you as no one will ever love you and only the love of God can equal or surpass her love, in the end it is he who chooses them to be mothers and prepares them for this task.

Así pues es cierto que no todas las madres son verdaderas, dicen que una madre es la que cría quizá porque cualquier mujer con buen estado físico puede tener un hijo, pero no cualquier mujer puede ser una verdadera madre, puesto que no todas tienen la virtud de cuidar y proteger a un hijo, de amarlo y darle lo mejor de sí misma, en esto se conoce a una verdadera madre, en que ella te ama como nunca nadie te amará y solo el amor de Dios puede igualar o superar su amor, al fin y al cabo es el quién las escoge para ser madres y las prepara para esta tarea.

Tal es el caso de una historia bíblica…dos mujeres dormían en un mismo lugar, ambas tuvieron un niño más uno murió y la madre del niño muerto reclamó diciendo que el niño vivo le pertenecía, al declararlo ante el rey Salomón este ordenó partirlo a la mitad pero a la verdadera madre del niño se le conmovieron las entrañas y prefirió dárselo a la otra antes de que el niño muriera (1Reyes 3: 26), porque la realidad es que existen madres como esa, pero las madres de verdad siempre querrán lo mejor para sus hijos aunque eso signifique no tenerlos a su lado.
