Eternally Gaming in the Quarantine

I recently purchased DOOM Eternal and... wow, what a game! I am constantly floored by the setting design and the attention to detail in this game. So, when I saw that Hive account@battlegames had issued a second #battescreen contest, I knew I had to enter it with some of my DOOM screenshots.

If you were a fan of any of the previous Doom titles... I think you'll really like DOOM Eternal. It has an oldschool feel to it while also being absolutely astonishing in it's level design, graphics, worldbuilding, and story.

So, with that said... here's some screenshots to showcase what Hell on Earth looks like in DOOM Eternal!

The vast majority of Earth seems to be a scorched and broken wasteland of fire and lava. The husks of gargantuan mechs and demons can be found in the backdrops of a ton of levels.

I haven't gotten super far in this yet - my toddler keeps me busy and I try not to play particularly scary games around him (night terrors suuuuuck), but the story has been fantastic so far. Little lines like this have made me laugh my face off:

This was a breathtaking moment and just a bad-ass scene. Managing to snag this perfectly timed screenshot is my crowning achievement in this game so far. I'm eager to get further into it though - so that's all from me! I'm off to chainsaw more demons!
