Happy Sepia Saturday, Y'all
You know it's been a good number of years since I created the Sepia Saturday tag. Sadly it's also been a while since I've got around to posting to Sepia Saturday. However, as the old saying goes, there's no time like the present.
Of course I would like to remind everybody that there is no right or wrong technique when it comes to making sepia photos, in my opinion.
I am going to share a couple photos of a photo taken many years ago and therefore naturally sepia. However, to participate in this tag most of us will digitally enhance, or rather, degrade modern digital photos to resemble photos taken in the days of yore.
These first three sepia photos were hung in the hotel that I recently stayed at called the Surfside Beach Oceanfront Hotel. It was my second time staying there, and both experiences were pleasant and positive.
It always makes me smile to see hibiscus plants just growing natively in the soil.
Finally here is one of my own that I degraded to a sepia. Interesting that this photo was taken in 2018 and that pier is no longer there; a victim of the latest sea damage.
