¿Cuántos de ustedes han sentido la necesidad de hacer un poco de actividad física últimamente? Luego de varios meses de cuarentena radical en mi país, se han decretado semanas de flexibilización para el esparcimiento de las personas cada dos semanas, se pueden visitar espacios públicos como parques y algunos centros comerciales tomando las respectivas medidas preventivas, como es de esperarse, en los espacios abiertos como los parques se permite caminar sin el uso del tapaboca a las personas que llegan juntas, como saben, soy un gran fanático de la montaña, por lo cual, esta semana de flexibilización no dude en volver a dar un pase en la montaña El Ávila, esta vez, acompañado de mi querida amiga Jhosely.
How many of you have felt the need to do a little physical activity these days? After several months of radical quarantine in my country, some weeks of flexibility have been decreed for the recreation of people every two weeks, public spaces such as parks and some shopping centers can be visited taking the respective preventive measures, as it was expected, in the open spaces such as parks, people who come together are allowed to walk without wearing a mask, as you know, I am a big fan of the mountain, so this week of relaxation I didn’t hesitate to have a nice walk in the Mountain “El Ávila”, this time, accompanied by my dear friend Jhosely.
Jhosely y yo nos conocemos desde hace años y somos muy buenos amigos, por lo cual solemos compartir momentos juntos muy seguido, sin embargo, desde hace unos meses, cuando se decretó la cuarentena, nuestros encuentros se han visto significativamente reducidos, por lo cual, ante una semana de flexibilización, el hacer un poco de actividad física para estirar las piernas era la excusa perfecta para encontrarnos y conversar un poco. Nos encontramos en la mañana y comenzamos nuestro pequeño paseo subiendo la montaña por la subida más cercana de nuestras casas, un camino pavimentado rodeado de mucha naturaleza.
Jhosely and I have known each other for years and we are very good friends, so we usually share moments together very often, however, since a few months ago, when the quarantine was decreed, our meetings have been significantly reduced, therefore, with a week of relaxation, doing a little physical activity to stretch the legs was the perfect excuse to have a little meeting and talk a little bit. We meet in the morning and started our little walk up the mountain by the closest climb to our houses, a paved path surrounded by a lot of nature.
Como les he comentado los últimos días, he subido un par de veces en las últimas semanas, sin embargo, Jhosely tenía varios meses sin subir, por lo cual se cansaba de vez en cuando y nos deteníamos para descansar unos poco minutos, momentos que aprovechábamos para seguir conversando y toarnos algunas fotos entre bromas y risas.
As I have told you in the last few days, I have climbed a couple of times in the last weeks, however, Jhosely had not climbed for several months, so she got tired from time to time and we stopped to rest for a few minutes, moments that we took advantage to continue talking and take some photos between jokes and laughter.
Mientras seguíamos avanzando nos deteníamos a contemplar la vista de vez en cuando, el cielo estaba realmente nublado por lo cual se presumía que tarde o temprano empezaría a llover, nos sorprendió un poco ya que, al salir de casa, el clima estaba bastante soleado, sin embargo, aún con la amenazada de lluvia, igualmente decidimos seguir con nuestro recorrido.
While we continued advancing we stopped to contemplate the view from time to time, the sky was really cloudy, so it was presumed that sooner or later it would start to rain, we were a bit surprised since, when we left the house, the weather was quite sunny, however, even with the threat of rain, we still decided to continue our journey.
Finalmente, como era de esperarse, empezó a llover y tuvimos que refugiarnos bajo uno de los árboles, sin embargo, esto no fue suficiente e igualmente terminamos empapados, de igual manera fue un momento muy divertido, ya que un poco de lluvia nunca cae mal, no duró demasiado tiempo, así que después de unos diez o quince minutos, pudimos continuar nuestro recorrido.
Finally, as I expected, it started to rain and we had to take refuge under one of the trees, however, this was not enough and we also ended up soaked, in the same way it was a very fun moment, since a little rain never falls badly It didn't last too long, so after about ten or fifteen minutes, we were able to continue our trip.
Luego de que la lluvia se detuvo, el cielo se despejo rápidamente y se asomó el sol iluminando todo el lugar, momento perfecto para otro descanso al contemplar la vista, ya habíamos llegado al punto que nos habíamos planteado, por lo cual nos detuvimos a seguir conversando para luego regresar a casa, no sin antes ponernos de acuerdo para pronto volver y llegar más alto en nuestro pequeño paseo, el cual estuvo bastante bien para ir retomando el ritmo después de tanta inactividad, pero más importante, volver a compartir un rato agrádale juntos después de mucho tiempo.
After the rain stopped, the sky cleared quickly and the sun came out illuminating the whole place, a perfect moment for another rest to contemplate the view, we had already reached the point that we had raised, for which we stopped to continue talking and then returning home, but not before agreeing to return soon and reach higher in our little walk, which was quite good to take back the rhythm after so much inactivity, but more importantly, share a good time together after a long time.
