A very special tribute to one of the most important cherry-producing areas in southern Europe, the Jerte Valley. This place is located on the banks of the river of the same name and at the foot of the Sierra de Gredos, an important peninsular mountain range in Spain. The beautiful varied landscapes, in areas modified by the hand of man but respecting nature and others completely wild, make it one of the most important natural points in the country.
The photographic series is dedicated to this wonderful red fruit that is the sweet cherry of this area, it always surprises me when I see it since its striking color, its special shine, its texture and its shape make, at first glance, you want to eat them.
A pleasant memory of that clean river that crossed a small town nestled in this area reminds me of the experience I had walking through these beautiful places. Far from the cement, from the noise, here you could breathe peace and tranquility, something that is often not easy to achieve. The life we lead is sometimes hectic, full of moments of tension and being able to be in this place is a privilege for the senses, the soul and the spirit.
In the center of town I found this great market with autochthonous products and local crafts and you can't help but go in and buy some of them. When I crossed the threshold and after being outside for a while looking, I felt as if I was in the museum of the senses, transported to another time and space, a wonderful feeling.

El país de la cereza.
Un homenaje muy especial a una de las zonas productoras de cerezas más importa al sur de Europa, el valle del Jerte. Este lugar está ubicado en las orillas del río del mismo nombre y a las faldas de la sierra de Gredos, importante cordillera peninsular en España. Los hermoso paisajes variados, en zonas modificados por la mano del hombre pero respetando la naturaleza y el otras completamente salvaje hace que sea uno de los puntos naturales más importantes del país.
La serie fotográfica está dedicada a este maravilloso fruto rojo que es la dulce cereza de esta zona, siempre me sorprende al verla ya que su color llamativo, su especial brillo, su textura y su forma hace que , a simple vista, se antoje comerlas.
Un grato recuerdo de aquel limpio rio que atravesaba una pequeña población enclavada en esta zona me hace recordar la experiencia vivida caminando por estos hermosos lugares. Lejos del cemento, del ruido aquí se respiraba paz y tranquilidad, algo que muchas veces, no suele ser fácil de conseguir. La vida que llevamos a veces es agitada, llena de momentos de tensión y poder estar en este sitio es un privilegio para los sentidos, al alma y el espíritu.
En el centro del pueblo encontré este genial mercado con productos autóctonos y de artesanía local y no puede más que entrar y adquirir algunos de ellos. Cuando cruce el umbral y después de estar un rato fuera mirando me sentí como si estuviera en el museo de los sentidos, trasportado a otro tiempo y espacio, una sensación maravillosa, saludos amigos.
