Hello GEMS family. This post is my first post in the GEMS group, so I'm getting a little excited. Today I will tell you about a very different authentic jewelry store and its story. I hope you will like the The Crazy of Village, which we discovered and met during our holiday in Kaz (Ida) Mountains.
Merhaba GEMS ailesi. Bu gönderi benim GEMS grubundaki ilk paylaşımım, bu sebeple de küçük bir heyecan yaşıyorum. Bugün sizlere çok farklı bir otantik takı mağazasını ve hikayesini anlatacağım. Kaz Dağları tatilimiz sırasında keşfedip tanıştığımız Köyün Delisi'ni sizin de çok seveceğinizi umuyorum.

The first day we went to the village, we immediately went out to explore this place. We were able to explore the whole place in a maximum of two hours. First we had a very good breakfast at Şarlak Restaurant, then we saw the shop called "The Crazy of Village". Since I have a special interest in authentic jewelry and ornaments, I immediately entered the shop.
Köye gittiğimiz ilk gün burayı keşfetmek için hemen dışarı çıktık. En fazla iki saat içinde her yeri keşfedebildik. Önce Şarlak Restourant'da çok iyi bir kahvaltı yaptık, sonra da Köyün Delisi isimli dükkanı gördük. Otantik takılara ve süs eşyalarına karşı ayrı bir ilgim olduğu için hemen dükkana girdim.
First of all, I must say that it is a very tastefully designed place. It appeals to both traditional and modern tastes and is colorful everywhere. While looking at the souvenirs in the shop, we also met and chatted with Mrs. Saadet, the owner of The Crazy of Village.
Öncelikle çok zevkli dizayn edilmiş bir yer olduğunu söylemeliyim. Hem geleneksel hem de modern zevklere iyi hitap ediyor ve her yer rengarenk. Dükkan'daki hediyelik eşyalara bakarken Köyün Delisi'nin sahibi Saadet hanımla da tanışıp sohbet etmeye başladık.
Many years ago, Mrs. Saadet lived in Istanbul with her journalist husband, Mr. Ayhan. Their lives completely changed when they saw a rental sign in front of a house in Çamlıbel Village, which they had discovered and visited in 2013. They decided to stay away from the crowd and noise of Istanbul and settle here and live a life in touch with nature.
Saadet hanım yıllar önce gazeteci eşi Ayhan bey ile birlikte İstanbul'da yaşıyormuş. 2013 yılında keşfedip gezmeye geldikleri Çamlıbel Köyü'ndeki bir evin önünde kiralık tabelasını görünce hayatları tamamen değişmiş. İstanbul'un kalabalığından ve gürültüsünden uzaklaşıp buraya yerleşerek doğayla içiçe bir hayat yaşamaya karar vermişler.
After they settled in the village, they wanted to create their own brand and The Crazy of Village was born. In 2016, Mr. Ayhan passed away, but Mrs. Saadet remained in the village and continued to develop The Crazy of Village. She currently continues to produce her own special designs.
Köye yerleştikten sonra da kendi markalarını yaratmak istemişler ve ortaya Köyün Delisi çıkmış. 2016 yılında Ayhan bey hayatını kaybetmiş fakat Saadet hanım köyde kalarak Köyün Delisi'ni geliştirmeye devam etmiş. Şu anda da kendi özel tasarımlarını üretmeye devam ediyor.

We shopped for a few pieces from The Crazy of Village to take to our friends in Ankara. Afterwards, we finished our pleasant conversation with Mrs. Saadet and left there, but The Crazy of Village always remained in the back of our minds.
Ankara'daki arkadaşlarımıza götürmek üzere Köyün Delisi'nden birkaç parça alışveriş yaptık. Sonra da Saadet hanım ile yaptığımız keyfili sohbeti tamamlayarak oradan ayrıldık fakat Köyün Delisi aklımızın bir köşesinde hep kaldı.
If you go The Crazy of Village, you can buy many different souvenirs to make your friends happy. All handmade. Bracelet, necklace, ring, bandana, key chain, necklace, dress etc. Many different gifts are available here. If it is not very crowded when you go, you can also drink the infused tea offered by the hospitable Mrs. Saadet with her sweet talk.
Yolunuz Köyün Delisi'ne düşerse arkadaşlarınızı mutlu edebileceğiniz birçok farklı hediyelik eşya alabilirsiniz. Hepsi de el yapımı. Bileklik, kolye, yüzük, bandana, anahtarlık, kolye, elbise vb. birçok farklı hediye burada mevcut. Eğer gittiğinizde çok kalabalık değil ise misafirperver Saadet hanımın tatlı sohbeti eşliğinde ikram ettiği demli çayı da içebilirsiniz.
