Está es mi entrada para el Challenge creado por 
La dinámica consiste en realizar algo con materiales reciclajes y lógicamente, con la temática navideña. Para mí participación, decidí reutilizar una botella de vino, y retazos de foami. Siendo ambos, materiales que tardan tiempo en degradarse completamente.
Elegí estos materiales porque son fáciles de conseguir y seguramente los tenemos en casa. Por eso, siempre es útil guardar los restos de foami que nos queden de algunas tareas escolares o algunas decoraciones: reutilizamos, reciclamos, ayudamos al planeta y conseguimos un nuevo adorno para estas fechas navideñas, y podemos usarlas nuevamente para la navidad de los años siguientes.
Ahora bien, les mostraré el paso a paso de la hermosa botella decorativa que logré con tan pocos materiales.
Primeramente decidí que figura hacer, elegí un muñeco de nieve vestido de colores navideños. Luego, seleccioné los retazos de foami escarchado que me servirían. Debido a que es una figura pequeña, los retazos que tenemos guardados nos sirven muy bien.

This is my entry for the Challenge created by
The dynamic consists in making something with recycled materials and, logically, with the Christmas theme. For my participation, I decided to reuse a bottle of wine, and pieces of foami. Both are materials that take time to degrade completely.
I chose these materials because they are easy to get and we surely have them at home. That's why it's always useful to save the remains of foami from some school work or some decorations: we reuse, recycle, help the planet and get a new ornament for this Christmas season, and we can use them again for Christmas in the following years.
Now, I will show you step by step the beautiful decorative bottle that I achieved with so few materials.
First I decided what figure to make, I chose a snowman dressed in Christmas colors. Then, I selected the pieces of frosted foami that I would use. Because it is a small figure, the pieces we have in store serve us very well.
Teniendo el figurín, necesitaremos copiarlo en otra superficie plana, para así poder sacar los moldes.
Una vez con los moldes, los ponemos en el foami a la inversa y recortamos. Así haremos con cada parte del muñeco de nieve.
Having the figurine, we will need to copy it on another flat surface, so that we can take out the moulds.
Once we have the moulds, we put them on the foami in reverse and cut them out. This way we will make with each part of the snowman.
En cuanto a las piernas, podemos usar solo un color, o en mi caso, preferí darle uso a los retazos más pequeños y los usé recortándolos en cuadritos. Por otra parte, para los botones del suéter del muñeco, usé un sacahuecos.
As for the legs, we can use only one color, or in my case, I preferred to use the smaller pieces and cut them into squares. On the other hand, for the buttons on the doll's sweater, I used a cloakroom.
Cuando tengamos todas las partes recortadas, las colocaremos encima del figurín original y pegamos. Usamos pega blanca, ya que está si de corre un poco en el foami no deja marca.
When we have all the parts cut out, we will place them on top of the original figurine and glue them together. We use white glue, as it is if it runs a little on the foami does not leave a mark.
Si alguno de nuestros retazos no coincide perfectamente con el molde de la figura, pueden jugar con eso como me pasó con los brazos del muñeco de nieve. Pegué el brazo que pude sacar en mi retazo de foami y luego con una tijera le recorté las sobras del figurín base.
Así mismo, para terminar de adornar la botella, conseguí en casa un poco de cinta dorada, esa me servía justamente para rodear la botella y le daría el toque final. El pico de la botella, lo tapé añadiendole un gorrito navideño hecho con fieltro en pasadas navidades. ¿Qué les pareció? A mí me encantó, y hacerlo también fue cheverísimo!! Y lo mejor de todo, ayudamos al planeta usando los retazos de foami que ni nos imaginábamos usar!!

If any of our pieces don't perfectly match the mold of the figure, you can play with it like I did with the arms of the snowman. I glued the arm that I was able to take out on my foami piece and then with a scissors I cut out the leftovers from the base figurine.
In the same way, to finish decorating the bottle, I got at home some golden tape, that was just enough to surround the bottle and give it the final touch. I covered the spout of the bottle, adding a little Christmas hat made of felt last Christmas. What did you think? I loved it, and doing it was really cool too! And best of all, we helped the planet by using the bits of foami that we never thought we'd use!
