Hello, hivers!
Today is my third day on this #BloggingChallenge in #Hive, and today's post is about my favorite quote. I couldn't keep it just to one, so I'm going to share with you my all time three favorite.
All time favorite quotes
#1:What do you want a meaning for? Life is a desire, not a meaning! - Charlie Chaplin in Limelight.
This quote from Chaplin's character Calvero, had a huge impact on me the first time I saw it on screen. The idea that life is a desire just blew my mind. You have to have a great sense of being when you realize that life is a force and, at its core, is not always linked to reason, and that we don't need meaning to live.
#2:Sooner or later, discipline will overtake intelligence. - Japanese proverb.
Japanese have a very hard working-focused culture and discipline is a very special personal trait for them. This proverb shows how discipline -a personal trait that embodies effort and perserverance-, can defeat, in time, the talent of intelligence. This idea of perseverance over talent have always been attractive to me, and it has been a good teaching throughout my life.
#3:Efforts must be enforce through perseverance. - Paola De Andrade.
Speaking of perseverance. This phrase, more than a quote, is a self-desing mantra for me. I came up with this when I was going through some difficult times in my life, and I was having trouble on keeping things straight and getting things done. In that moment, I realized that, effort without perseverance, was useless, because it couldn't be maintained through time and, therefore, you would fail towards your goals. It took me a long time to understand this, but I improved myself and kept going.
These are quotes that mean a lot to me and that are present in my daily life. I hope you guys really enyojed this post, and I hope you learnd a thing or two about the way I look at life and how I keep myself together.
I invite and
, again, to do this challenge (there's a spanish version of it).
