This is my contribution to the SGL-solidarity initiative of . He launched a Sonic Groove Live Solidarity intitiative (https://beta.peakd.com/hive-148441/@ylich/sgl-solidarity-week-1-peridodico-de-ayer-cover) a little over a week ago.
The Sonic Groove Live contest ran on Steem for little over a half year, but was suspended in the Justin Sun troubles and the consequent move to HIVE. The tribe is still on Steem-Engine, and a port to the new Hive-Engine is probably a bit complicated. Or is perhaps never going to happen. I don't know.
While waiting for the the Sonic Groove Live contest to resume proposed this initiative "which is simply that all of us who regularly participate in the event (and all those who want to join), upload our song as if it were the contest and that we all commit to vote for the participation of other users."
And why not. There are no prices to win, it is all about participating and express some gratitude for the contest while it ran. And it is a nice excuse to practise, perform and record a piece of music. I hope more of the former participants will join this initiative.
Perhaps we should throw in some rewards. Well, I'll have to think about that.
My contribution is a composition I had planned to perform sometime as an entry for the Sonic Groove Live contes. So I might as well play it now.
The music was composed by Ernst Friedrich Richter. There belongs a fugue as well to this wonderfull flowing Prelude. I'll practise that one and save it for a future post.
Sorry for the baseball cap. It's very nice weather at ther moment in The Netherlands. I just forgot I was wearing it while redording tis performance....
