Hello, friends of Gems, how are you? I’m grateful to God for allowing me to share with you again. Today I’ll be sharing these photos of Holy Week celebrations in my town.
Here in my country and in my town, when Holy Week arrives, people usually go to the countryside or to the reservoir to celebrate with their families, because here in my town we have a tradition where every year during Holy Week people go to a resort that’s an hour away from my town. It’s a tourist spot that showcases the beauty of the Venezuelan plains. Where we go, there’s a large dam, and below it there’s a resort. Families go there, play music, fish, make soup, hang hammocks, and enjoy themselves. It’s a place that connects you with nature—there’s no cell service or internet, far from everything—all you see is happiness.
Yesterday I went with my family; I had a great time, took photos, and was delighted. There were lots of people, and we really enjoyed ourselves.
