I want to share a funny and special story about our time decorating for a wedding. We were only three people: me, the coordinator, and her husband. It was very hard work, but we still laughed and helped each other. It was even more amazing because my cousin, the coordinator, just gave birth two days ago! We needed to finish fast because we also had other bookings in Olango, Camotes, Cordova, and many more places. Even if we were very tired, we felt happy because of our teamwork.
Today is June 29. I want to share with you my experience with my cousin at Gallardo’s Garden. We went there to help with the wedding decorations. It was a very special day for us. We helped put flowers on the tables and chairs. We put lights around the garden. We also put white cloth on the chairs to make them look nice. We worked together and we were so happy. The place looked like a beautiful dream when we finished. We felt proud because we made the garden look so pretty for the wedding. I am very happy to share this story with you, and I hope you enjoy it!
I will show you the pictures of the finished decorations first before I share the story of how we made everything look like this.
This is the stage where the bride and groom sit. We put many lights around the stage so it shines bright at night. We used red and gold cloth on the ceiling and added white flowers hanging down. It looks very grand and makes the stage look like a place for a king and queen. We were so happy when we saw how pretty the stage turned out.
This is the view of the red carpet and the tables beside it. We put a long red carpet in the middle for the bride to walk on. On the ceiling, we hung many yellow flowers and lights. The tables on the side have white chairs with orange ribbons. The whole place looked so fancy, like a wedding in the movies.
Here you can see the tables up close. We put white napkins on each plate and gold vases with white flowers in the center of each table. The tablecloths are orange, and we added some green plants for a fresh look. The tables looked so nice and ready for the guests to enjoy the wedding meal.
This is another view of the stage with the two white chairs for the bride and groom. We put many flowers in front of the stage and lights to make it bright. The red and gold cloth above makes the place look warm and beautiful. We wanted the couple to feel very special when they sit here.
This is the entrance of the wedding venue. We made a big arch with orange and white flowers and added red cloth to match the theme. The red carpet goes from the entrance to the stage. This entrance made everyone say “wow” when they arrived. It felt like walking into a fairytale.
So now I will show you the place where this event was held, and how nice and perfect the place is.
This is the garden outside the event place. The grass is very green and there are many palm trees that make it look fresh and relaxing. The white fence looks clean and nice, and the blue sky makes everything more beautiful. This garden is perfect for taking pictures or for guests to walk around and enjoy the view before the event starts.
This is the swimming pool area at night. The lights around the pool make it look magical and pretty. There are many tables and chairs for the guests, and you can see people talking and having fun. The palm trees and lights together make the place look like a party in paradise. This place is perfect for a wedding because it looks so elegant and happy.
So now, let’s talk about our journey while decorating here.
This is where we started our work. We put all the boxes of flowers and decorations on the floor. There were many colors and many things to use. We were excited but also felt a little tired already because we knew we had a lot of work to do. We looked at the empty place and imagined how nice it would look after we finished.
Here you can see the flowers and leaves spread out on the floor. We separated them by color and type so it would be easy to pick what we needed. The orange, red, and white flowers looked so pretty even when they were not yet put up. We were careful not to step on them while walking.
This is where we started placing the flowers in small bunches. We used the open space to make many flower arrangements. It was a bit messy, but we were happy because we could already see how beautiful it would be. The view outside made us feel calm while working.

Here we finished some flower arrangements on the table. We mixed orange, pink, and white flowers. We also added green leaves to make it look fresh. Seeing the finished flowers made us feel proud and gave us energy to continue decorating.
This day taught us that when people work together, even the hardest jobs can be finished with smiles. We were only three, but our love and teamwork made the decorations perfect for the wedding.
