WEDDING IN ALEGRIA CEBU
VENUE;Dalampasigan Rocks Event Resort
Full Coordination; La De Moda Couture Ph
Let me tell you—this one was really tiring.
The wedding venue was so far from our hometown in Liloan, and that alone made things challenging. Imagine traveling with boxes full of flowers, balloons, cloths, ribbons, centerpieces, and all sorts of decoration supplies—grabe ka punô ang sakyanan! We barely had room to sit comfortably!
To make it even more dramatic, it started raining while we were on the road. We had to make sure the flowers wouldn’t get ruined, and honestly, that part felt like a little adventure on its own. The travel was long, the traffic was annoying, and our backs were already aching before we even arrived.
But despite all the hassle and stress, when we finally saw the place after decorating… WOW. The outcome was truly worth it. All the tiredness suddenly faded when we looked around and saw how beautiful everything turned out. It felt like magic happened right before our eyes.
HERE'S THE OUTCOME OF OUT VENUE HERE IN ALEGRIA
And now… the outcome. Just look at it.
After all the hard work, all the stress of packing and traveling, and all the beads of sweat from carrying heavy flower stands and backdrops—we finally saw the fruits of our labor. And honestly? It felt magical.
The moment we stepped back and looked at the venue, we couldn’t help but smile. The chairs were all neatly wrapped in white covers with royal blue ribbons—simple, but so elegant. The buffet tables were draped in shiny satin skirts, each one carefully pinned and arranged to make everything look festive and classy. Every corner had something to admire—from the leafy greens to the soft draping cloths, to the strategically placed lights that added just the right glow.
But the real wow factor was the backdrop. A stunning mix of deep blue, gold, and lavender flowers, like a scene straight from a fairytale. The couple’s initials “M & G” stood proudly at the center, surrounded by cascades of hanging flowers and warm string lights that made the whole space feel romantic and alive. That spot became everyone's favorite photo area—no doubt about it.
And can we talk about the food corner? The lechon, fruits, drinks, desserts—all arranged with love, blending with the theme while making everyone’s tummy growl in excitement. Even the lighting above gave off a soft, cozy vibe that made the place feel like home, only better.
Seeing it all come together gave us goosebumps. We were tired, yes. Our arms hurt, our feet wanted rest, and we were low on energy—but in that moment, standing inside that decorated venue, we felt proud. We created something beautiful. Something memorable. And that made everything so worth it.
The catering setup was also a star of the show.
Everything was arranged with style and care. The buffet tables were lined with glossy satin skirts—blue, silver, and lavender—giving off that classy-but-welcoming feel. The chafing dishes were neatly lined up, their shiny silver covers reflecting the lights above. It gave a touch of elegance to the whole dining setup. Even the drinks and dessert corners had their own color coordination. The blue and green fabric used on the tables made everything pop, and the fresh fruits and punch were arranged like a mini art display.
You could really tell that the food wasn’t just cooked—it was presented. From the way the trays were labeled to the way the rice and viands were placed, everything followed the theme. There was also a designated lechon station (which got a lot of attention ), and nearby were the desserts—colorful, sweet, and almost too pretty to eat. The servers were polite and attentive, and they wore simple uniforms that matched the occasion.
What made it more memorable was how smooth everything went. No rush, no lines too long, and the guests were able to eat comfortably. The food was delicious, but it was also the effort in the setup that made the catering feel extra special. It wasn’t just food—it was part of the whole wedding experience.
As the night deepened and everyone thought the magic was over, the sky suddenly lit up. Boom!—a burst of color exploded above us. Everyone gasped and turned their eyes to the sky. The newlyweds stood together, holding hands, faces glowing in the light. It felt like a scene from a movie. The fireworks didn’t just light up the sky—they lit up hearts too.
And then… the fireworks. What a moment
There were sparkles, big golden bursts, heart shapes, and even purple and blue fireworks that matched the couple’s wedding colors. Each explosion brought cheers and "wows" from the guests. Kids were jumping with excitement, titas were busy recording on their phones, and we—well, we just stood there smiling, feeling proud that we were part of making this day unforgettable.
That fireworks show was the perfect ending to a perfect day. It didn’t just celebrate the love of the bride and groom—it celebrated all the people who came together to make it happen. All the tiredness from decorating, all the rain during travel, and all the tiny stresses? Gone. In that moment, under the starry, sparkling sky of Alegria, everything felt worth it
In the end, this wedding journey in Alegria was one for the books.
From the long, rainy travel with a car full of decorations to the hours of setup, lifting, fixing, and perfecting every detail—we gave it our all. It wasn’t easy, but it was beautiful. Being part of something so special, watching the place transform with our own hands, and seeing the joy on the couple’s faces made everything worth it.
We may have gone home tired, with aching bodies and sleepy eyes, but our hearts were full. Full of laughter, teamwork, and the unforgettable feeling of being part of a magical day. And as the last spark of fireworks faded in the sky, one thing was clear: love truly makes everything shine brighter.
One thing we didn’t get to do—take behind-the-scenes photos. 😓📵
We actually wanted to take pictures or maybe even short videos while setting up, but time was not on our side. The wedding was set at exactly 1PM, and since the location was really far, we arrived in Alegria at around 8AM. The moment we got there, we didn’t even have a chance to breathe or look around—we just jumped straight into decorating!
There was so much to do. Aside from the venue setup, the package also included the pica-pica area, so we had to prepare that too—another set of tables, trays, and decorative touches. We were racing against the clock. Our phones? We didn’t even bother touching them. We actually hid them away on purpose so we could focus 100%. We knew if we stopped even just to snap photos, we’d lose precious time. That’s how serious and fast-paced it was.
So, no selfies, no work-in-progress shots—just pure dedication and hustle. But in the end, even without those behind-the-scenes photos, the result spoke for itself. And honestly, the best “proof” of our effort was seeing the venue sparkle and the guests enjoy the moment.
CONGRATULATIONS, MRS MONTEBON!! OUR DEAR COUPLE 💗💗
