Like the January that always come around in the past, scarcity of goods, scarcity of capital and more likely high cost on almost all goods. It's been 3 days now that the usual place i use to get feed claimed they are out of stock. I mean no feed for now. I still have big birds with small birds consuming as hell. The feed for my birds got finished yesterday night, the remaining feed was what they shared overnight till this morning. I made some calls to know where and how I can get feeds even if it's a bag of feed but it wasn't possible for me.
Late this evening after I was done washing my bigger pen for my smaller birds to move in. I dashed out of the house to go to town in search to get maybe a feed. Then remembered my old customer who sells feed but far away from my domicile. Before I could get there it will take me nothing less than 21minutes of journey which is equivalent to like 15 kilometers if the bikeman is on a high speed.
Luckily for me, on getting there I was able to get feeds, the seller only sells 1 bag to each customer who come around because there's scarcity of feed in town,but being that I am an old customer he was able to sell 2 bags for me. Which is #16,000 equivalent to $39 for the 2 bags. The price of goods are at high right now. Formerly,, we usually buy 2bags #7,800 equivalent to $19. Every price of goods now is as double the price as before.
MEANS OF MOBILITY.
Luckily for me the bikeman who took me there waited for me till I made the transaction and took me back home. I paid a $ for transport.
This junction you are seeing is known to be in the center of Tanke Community in the capital of Ilorin with 4 major roads leading to the 4 sides. One leading to Tanke junction,the other leading to the popular University of Ilorin campus. While the other directions, one leads to pipeline offa-garage, the opposite direction of the pipeline leads to well known F-division Barack where I reside. Get to know about my environment. Got home safely and now I can get to feed my birds till the next 2days or more. Before my birds finished the 2bags, my usual sellers ought to have stocked up her shop with feeds.
