Stockpiling feed is an act or process of storing or stocking up feeds to dodge any issue of feed scarcity and feed price inflation. Though it is not all the time that kind of things really stand at advantage of stocking up feeds. But the case in Nigeria about price inflation is likely predictable. As soon as price of goods increase, it is very rare you see the price of such of good deflating, the price might rather be stagnant where it is but deflating? I don't think so.
It's important to know that, in Nigeria today, it's very common for price of goods to inflate but rare for the inflated price to later deflate, it will rather stay at equilibrium even when what determines(naphtha) our economy generally deflates. -Peter Aleraiye Adekunle
Has it is calculated by myself, my current birds will consume approximately 30 bags of feed for 7weeks. I will be very happy if I have the fund to buy the feed once but it's not easy for me. This is what I did, I set my posts reward in 50/50, so that I will have chance building my hive account wallet and also will have fund to buy feeds for my birds. So, out of my posts rewards that are dropping(HBD), that's I am using to fund the feed for my birds. I want to continue building my Hive account wallet without powering down and still keep my offline business going. So, almost all my HBD reward go to funding feeds for my birds. The stockpiling the bird's feed might be the next step that I will taking.
This morning went to the feeds store to buy Ultima super starter feed, I was able some bags and conveyed it home with bike. The funnies part is 4days ago I bought some bags, a bag was then #8,000 but it's #8,300 presently. I felt discouraged at first an entrepreneur like me but what more can I do?🤦🏿♂️ I have no choice.
