It's been a while since I used my old camera to take photos. I'm worried that a long time of not using it will damage the internal parts that's why I decided to bring it out and take some photos using it. I was relieved that it was fine after many months of it being stagnant inside the camera bag.
Due to old age, there are minor damages on the built-in lens and I can't do anything about it. This is the main issue of fixed lens cameras because I can never be able to replace the lens with any other type. I don't think the manufacturer is still making the lens specifically for my camera. I guess I just need to accept the fact that it can only do up to this point until it finally breaks.
This is still the best camera that I had because it is the one that I have used the most in the past decade. Proper maintenance is important to keep the camera in good condition. Just like any other electrical device, moisture is its worst enemy and so I have to keep it where it's cool and dry.
Lastly, regular use of it will be very helpful to keep it in a good state.
Let me share the photos I took earlier.
