We used to lead a regular life, a monotonous workaholic life which was normal for us. We used to go out, met friends, attend office, classes. Human is a social creature, it's hard for us to live alone, in fact, kind of impossible to live an isolated life. We are part of society.
But now because of the pandemic Corona Virus situation, we are forced to stay isolated maintaining social distances. We are locked down, can't go anywhere, can't meet friends, in fact, we are not allowed to go to the park as well.
As we are forced to live an isolated life, so it is normal for us to get bored so easily and for a long term period, it might cause depression. I am not saying that everyone will face the same because the mindset of every person is different. But, because of the current situation, we have to cope up with the isolation whether we want or not.
Spiritual Growth :
We can find happiness if we work on our spiritual growth while being isolated. Those who believe in God, they can focus on more prayer and learn more about religion and about the world. You can read the holy script and can enrich your knowledge.
Avoid Anxiety :
To be honest it's hard to avoid anxiety, fear in the current situation because of the uncertain future. But to avoid anxiety, you can read books and divert yourself from anxiety.
Involving into Creative works :
Involving yourself into creative works helps a lot to cope up with isolation. In fact, it not only helps to develop your skills but also can show you the way of earning as well. Also, you won't feel alone. Cooking might help a lot because it helps me a lot.
Stay Physically Active :
It is really important to work on mental health while isolation. In fact, if anyone is staying confined, it's important for them to stay active too and do some physical activities as well to keep themselves active.
Focus on Bondings :
I think this is the best time to think and focus on relationship especially family, friends. We often remain busy and don't have time for anyone. So, if you are dealing with isolation life, try to spend time with your family.
Stay Strong :
Last but not least I wanna mention, that you have to stay strong if you are dealing with isolation life. I know many negative thoughts come across your mind but let's be honest, if you are alone, you will feel weak. Gradually will fall into depression, so try to avoid negativity and only focus on positive vibes.
There are many other things you can do, but it's up to you how you gonna deal with this isolated life. Just do what makes you feel good and try to search for alternative ways to stay strong...
