My dad's first impression on looking this piece of work was Wowewe... he was dumbstuck for a moment. He thought, it was a painting, but I have to convince him it was made by me. Using my ball point pen and somes coloring shades. To me it appears to be one of the tattoo art that people inked on their skin. In actually this is purely doodling.
Roar of the Lion as I gave name to it. If we took a closer look it will reflect the lion head. Though this is purely a hand made scribling work at my school spare time. Again like yesterday, we ended up with a spare class, and I spent my good hours in doodling out the Lions face.
In begining i started with the eye portion. I was drawing casual eyes and when one of my school friends challeneged me to draw a lions face as given in one of his notebook. I qucikly started moving my hand and fingers to sketchout. I wanted the eyes to look ferocious and finally it comes out nicely
Then another important part was the mouth part. Generally we have seen lion with a blood soaked Red mouth or sometimes with the their tongue out while resting. But this one with a closed jaws. I am more focus on drawing a lion in anger.
Once I managed to link both the eyes and jaws portion, the rest is all about playing with the pen. I managed to ink each portion of the face with joining dots and drawing different shapes. This part require a lot of focus and dedication as , even a little disturbances may end up spoiling all the hard work.
Finally after good half n hour time, I ended up with this piece. Call it a tattoo art or a self design made by me. I wish i could have my step by step drawing process. But camera or phones are not allowed in our school, So unable to share the entire drawing process. I made use of some coloring shades too.
Hope you like this little doodling work. Let see what we get today in school.
