This is my current story as a Sri Lankan.
Time flies very fast. In our life stories, we have different kinds of time periods. Some are pleasant while some of are not good time periods. So these days are also the same as some painful time periods. When I was a child, I was lucky enough to have everything I needed, and my parents always gave me what I wanted. We traveled, we ate at restaurants, we went on trips.. All those things we did in the past.
In past days, I thought I also want to travel, eat at different places, and do many more things with my own money. During my university time period, I started to earn some money and so I was traveling and testing different restaurants when I get free time. So I thought I could visit more and more places when I do a Job in the future... But looks what happens to me! I am almost at home and doing my jobs without traveling any places.
In my first months on the job, I was able to travel a few and I have gone to a quite higher number of restaurants around the country... But still, I have a lot. Unfortunately, all those dreams disappeared due to the Economic crisis. Since I am a person who always believes everything will happen for a good reason, I also thought this crisis will over in a few days... But now I see that we don't see any solution for this crisis in the near future.
First days, the crisis started with fuel shortages in some areas only for one or two days... Then It was converted to food shortages and everything was skyrocketing. Now we have to wait more than 3,4 weeks to get fuels for our vehicles. And also there are shortages of every and each item like foods, medicines, electrical items and many more. Actually, in Sri Lanka, Nothing is available at the moment. All our dreams were destroyed and ruined by our politicians. I just have to say one sentence for all of the people who connect to destroy our country.
