Howdy Folks and Happy Caturday!
March went out like a lamb and April is most welcome after a few months of cold weather.
The temperature is above freezing but Hubby started a fire early this morning and the cats are happy to have the extra warmth.
Sunday loves the heat from the wood stove.
As usual the two cats obey the physical distancing rule with the world-wide fear of the corona virus.
Sunday rests by the fire while Red hangs out by the kitchen cupboards.
I jokingly say they are physical distancing for they always keep a distance between each other when resting. Perhaps it is because they are both males.
Red is getting up in age and talks more now. He doesn’t like me to scold him and will obey most commands. Sunday is much younger and starting to understand when I say,
“Get down off that counter!”
Never a dull moment with pets. Animals are great company when staying home as much as possible with the fear of the COVID-19 virus pandemic.
Along with pets, a cheery flower brings a smile and we need smiles now with the new reality of self-isolating.
April showers bring May flowers and the orange lilies are already starting to sprout.
